Virtuoso musicians, outstanding live performances and a groundbreaking sound: BLINDSTONE are the new generation of blues rock.

The Danish, guitar-driven blues rock trio is strongly influenced by 60′s/70′s era artists like Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, Frank Marino, Black Sabbath, Funkadelic and Mountain. Signed to American label Grooveyard Records, Blindstone have released 5 albums on the label so far. The band’s most recent album, ”GREETINGS FROM THE KARMA FACTORY”, was released on April 5th, 2012, along with its companion release, ”RARE TRACKS”, a collection of rarities and cover versions.

Blindstone formed in Thisted, Denmark, in 2002,. Founding members, Andersen and Bunk, have worked with artists such as George Clinton, the late Billy Preston and Bobby Womack. The bands second album, “FREEDOM’S CALLING” was featured as album of the month by the noted american music-site THE CUTTING EDGE. On the following album ”RISE ABOVE”, danish guitar hero Poul Halberg and King’s X-guitarist Ty Tabor each made a guest appearance. Steven Reid of british rock magazine FIREWORKS, stated in his review that ”RISE ABOVE is a glorious, hard-hitting and memorable album that is packed with wonderful musicianship and cracking songs”.
