Halloween Witch's Shoe Party Favor Printable's and Patterns

I thought I would repost my witch's shoe to remind you about all the free printable party favors, invitations and toys that are available on my blog. The however I have had to butcher my blog because of so many stealing my graphics and selling them or posting them as theirs on their blogs. So  if you see any of my graphics on there blogs or in their stores please let them know they are thiefs. I will soon have the pattern and instructions for this in my little etsy store.

I have some bragging to do

One of my customers has made some awesome art with some of the images purchased from me and I just had to share. I especially like what she did with "Dark Marie". Most of these have sold already but if you don't find something you were looking for, I am sure  she would do a special request. Please visit her shop at
NacreousAlchemy on Etsy

You can click on the thumb above to check them out a little better or you can just go to her shop and see the various views of them. You might just have to check her sold items though

Vintage Halloween Hats Printables

My little grandson has been keeping me pretty busy. I know this picture is a little fuzzy but it was so cute I had to share it. It is pretty hard to get computer time because this little guy always wants to play on the computer but the time I have had has been spent scanning some of my recently acquired collectables to reproduce them.

We have been busy making lots of faux vintage stuff for our Halloween party too. This yeas as always our theme will be "Vintage Halloween" All of my actual vintage collectables are placed on display but I do my best to reproduce everything I can to actually use. I just won an auction for some crazy awesome vintage Halloween collectables too! I am a frenzied mess waiting for them to arrive. The Graphic for these little hats is in my little etsy store.

Dark .... 4 Blissful ATC 's

With the theme this month being "Dark" over at the Blissful ATC Swap. I went tip-toeing through the murkiest part of the dark woods.... and what did I find there! All things creepy, crawly and scary! There were spiders and bats and things that go bump in the night! I was afraid so I put what I found on these little ATC's and sent them off to my partner DeeDee so she could get the shivers too! I could not decide which one to send so I just had to send them both. I just did not think they should be separated! At least this way they could comfort each other when the lights went out at DeeDee's house :)) Do visit my partner DeeDee's blog because I think she took better pictures than I did ....lol

Now for a peek at the darkest thing I can think of .... The picture is scary enough so I hope I don't really see this guy !!! ..............besides my soul is already taken 0;-)

The layers are amazing! The bloody frame really seems to drip! and I love how she used torn cardboard for the background. Where the paper is missing gives so much depth and texture too! I just love this spooky treasure! He will be joining the Halloween section of my little ATC binder.... but wait.... that was not all! I also got the most stunning card! If you could only see it in real life! There is an amazing tea bag fold on the front of it and I could not capture the texture it has in the photo! Thank you so much DeeDee! I feel so honored to have met you and will look forward to the next time our names meet on the swapin list.

Spooky Mail Day .....

I have had a house full of company this week and I am afraid I missed the challenge over at Mixed Media Monday :( I started my project but was unable to get it finished before our company arrived.... I will post it when I finish anyway. I am crossing my fingers in anticipation of this next weeks theme, hopefully it will fit with it too :))

However I did receive some spooky fun ATC's from Wendy over at Blissangles I thought it was a one for one swap but to my surprise there was three :/ Thank you Wendy! They are fabulous and will make such a special addition to my collection!
This is the one I sent... It is a little Kissing Booth. I used my "Spooky" theater collage sheet and an image from my "Trick or Treater's" sheet and both are available at my little etsy store I will get a couple more made and sent too :)

Playing With ATC's

Doesn't this little guy look like an undertaker! ... I thought he would be perfect for a little Halloween ATC ...or I guess it could just be a spooky steampunk ATC... either way at the heart of this little undertaker is the cross :)) He is on my new "Graveyard Party" collage sheet available in my little etsy store

I don't usually do religious art but I must have been in a "high spirited" mood today :)) This is for a door swap I am in and it just went in the mail so I hope the recipient isn't lookin :D

I just loved the little image I used

The Witching Hour Comes

The week the theme over at Gothic Arches is Owls. I am not too much on owls but I have been playing around with Halloween stuff lately.

I used a trick or treat sucker card for my background and then my witching hour owl clock. I put real watch hands that had been salvaged off an old watch that I had taken apart for the gears. The little witch is from a new sheet of dark fairies that I have in my little etsy store.

Halloween Matchbox Shrine

The other day at our local stamp club Lynn Stevens hosted this darling project. I took mine home to finish because I wanted to use this little black cat charm I had. After adding some orange rhinestones for the eyes, I called it finished :))

Free Printabe Potion Labels (Limited Time Offer)

This was a limited time offer and has now expired but these labels are still available at
 my little etsy store.
This week it is my turn to bring a project for my local stamp club and I chose to do some potion bottles. You really can't see the stamping to well in this picture but the bottles are stamped with spiderwebs, bats, grave stones and such.

A few ideas for filling them, I used cream of wheat for the "Organic Bone Meal" I put black food coloring and some star glitter in the "Black of Night" Fuzzy yarn for the "Wool of Bat" and so on.. have a great Halloween!

Halloween Shoe 4 Theme Thursday Paper Shoe Template Pattern

I recently found a new challenge site I love. It is called Theme Thursday. I have been watching it for a while but when they posted the theme this week was Halloween I had to play. I went all out and designed a pattern for this little stamped witches shoe. You can really have fun with it as it could be used for a party favor for many occasions. Some ideas are pink with boa feathers for a little girls birthday or how about white glitter paper for a wedding? The pattern for this is available in my little etsy store Altered Artifacts.

Witches Graveyard

This is not the greatest picture because I don’t know how to use my cousins camera very well but my camera is on its way home from California! Please notice the scary eyes in the keyhole of the rusty backdrop. This backdrop and the rusty things piled up on the corner is from a doorknob mechanism that I took apart. The spider web and spider (plastic) were rusted with the new rusting technique that my son came up with for me. This is one technique that I will cover in the Halloween workshop. It is such a cool technique and only takes a few minutes so it is instant gratification. The little ghost witch is printed on transparency and then I cut the point for her hat from the background I cut away. I draped the cheesecloth across the back for the picture so that the little witch would her transparency but it did not work so great. I will try for a better picture when my camera comes home.

Spook Show Workshop

Click on the thumb above to go to the larger picture

Thanks to my cousins camera I was able to get a picture of what I have been working on the past few days. This is three projects for a mini workshop that I will be overseeing at The Latest Trends yahoo group. I just put up a new collage sheet for both of the assemblages … Spook Show and Pranksters too. I will be offering it 50% off plus postage to all workshop members who will be making an assemblage for the workshop. I will be covering laminating collage images to chipboard... how to match the images up for a front back image so that you can make ornaments like the Pumpkin Sitter that you can see hanging in the center of the picture on the left side. This technique is also used on the Prankster’s assemblage. This was done for the center of the table so it can be seen from all sides. I turned it around in the picture to the right so you could see the backside. I will also cover how to clean up the edges so that it looks professional and you wont have those pointy cut bumps. Then my spray glue glitter technique is very useful for holiday projects too. I have some great tips to make all of this really easy and you can do something as simple as the hanging ornament or a little more intense and do an assemblage. It doesn’t start until next month so you have plenty of time to come on over and join the fun!

Halloween Reflections

Halloween has come and gone and in all it was a nice day but I am glad to have it over. I was carving the pumpkin for the evening when my son arrived. I had the face drawn on and the eyes were finished. I was cutting out the mouth and was getting ready to carve the teeth when my son informed me I was doing it all wrong. He felt he should finish the job and since I wanted to cuddle the little sleepy ghost he brought, I quickly relented!

Halloween charm swap

These are for a charm swap in one of my groups. I shrank scans of some Halloween cards I did then I use “Jumbo Rain Drops” that I bought at the scrapbooking store. They are clear plastic so they will hold up to clanging against other charms. Once they were stuck to my images, I cut them out and sandwiched them together with e6000. This made them double sided. Then I stuck a piece of wire between the layers. Once it was dry, I wrapped the wire around the seam and twisted a little bail.

Halloween eye candy

Since our local stamp clubs theme this month was Halloween I also joined a swap in one of my yahoo clubs. Then I just made two of each card. These are the two I liked the best.

Yep, these are my nails!

Yep...and I painted them myself!

The 31st

This is a card I did for a weekly sketch challenge in one of my yahoo clubs. It was the first time I participated in the challenge but it was so fun I am sure to do it again! The stamps used are from Scroll Works
