Layout z albumu

Witam, ostatnio zabrałam się za porządkowanie różnych zdjęć, które miałam schowane w pudełku. Panuje w nich chaos, one same w tej formie są podatne na uszkodzenia, no i przeglądanie ich jest utrudnione. A takie porządki to fantastyczna okazja do tworzenia! Zaopatrzyłam się w czarną bazę albumowa o wymiarach 25 cm x 25 cm i w niej, powoli i metodycznie będę kolejne zdjęcia umieszczać.  Każda strona to pretekst do tworzenia nieco mniejszego niż klasyczne layoutu, gdzie ozdabiam zdjęcia papierami, tekturkami i elementami do wycinania.

Hello, I have recently started to organise the various photos that I have had tucked away in a box. They're a mess, they're prone to damage in this form, and looking through them is difficult. And this sorting out is a fantastic opportunity to create! I have provided myself with a black 25 cm x 25 cm album base in which I will slowly and methodically place my photos.  Each page is an oportunity to create a slightly smaller than classic size layout, where I decorate the photos with papers, cardboard and fussycut-out elements. Of course, these are not spatious pages - I want to fit them as many as possible in the album. To start with, I would like to show you two pages decorated with AltairArt papers from the Mysterious Garden collection. The romantic, viantag vibe of the papers suits the photos featuring grandparents and great-grandparents. How do you like them?

I encourage you to create simple albums like this on ready-made bases - not only is it fantastically relaxing, but it's also very pleasant to look at the photos framed in this way.

Fussy cutting the new Altair Art papers

Hello All

Back again, with a post that is a little late.  Not good at all, however, check out this little piece of loveliness ... Altair Art has released some new papers - awesome, I know!!  The range is called Nightfall and it is full of some rather unusual layouts that should get your creativity churning.

For my first one, I selected the green as my base paper and then I fussy cut the flowers out of another piece and mounted them with double sided tape around the page.  I did spray a bit more green around the die cut elements just to give them a bit of shadow effect.  After that it is the usual layering process until it is finished.  That's it from me for this month, see you early next month.  See a couple of pictures below.

Don't forget to check out the challenge for this month too - lots of fun.

Take care, be good, be kind and most of all, find time to create.  Loads of love, Delia

boylish layout | Marina Gridasova

Hello AltairArt fans! Marina with you today with boylish layout from not themed collections!)))

Several close-ups

The photo of my nephew was hard to scrap because of background and different colors.

But I decided to use neutral background and added some stamping to fit it in project. For all other layers I used papers with non-active patterns to balance them.

Wedding papers - new from Altair Art

My second scrapbooking layout for this month is a beautiful pink and gold piece created on the new Altair Art wedding range of papers called "The Beautiful Moments", along with a beautiful piece of chipboard from Dusty Attic and ephemera as provided in the paper pack.  The papers have a beautiful golden cream colour to them, but I did pink them up!

That is it for me this month, may you find some time to be creative before the month is over.

Kindest wishes always, Delia

A bit of dark fun with the Altair Art Papers

I had been wondering what to play with next in the wonderful array of Altair Art papers that grace my desk and I settled on this lovely purple backdrop paper from the ?? paper set.  However, I wanted it all to be less purple and to grunge it up a bit - as I tend to like to do.

So a bit of stencilling went on and then I applied a few different Lindy's Magicals, starting with the black, then dark blue and light blue, plus some of the pink - it all mostly stayed blackish, but in different lights, it all really lifts up, thought it is mostly hidden now with all the layering around the photo matte.

Another very pretty layout using these amazing papers and different ephemera elements that are included across the various packs.  I must say that my purple flower stash is diminishing somewhat with these papers, but, as long as the end result is worth it, I don't mind so much.  I am currently waiting on some postage to our slightly remote location that should fill the creative coffers up nicely!
