Well howdy! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm playing with some new dies I bought for myself over the holidays. Mr. J. tells me to pick what I want and I wanted these from Concord & 9th!

Where to start? That Mystic Moth background is fabulous! I did a monochromatic inlay in shades of peach/orange. I love that I can pop out the moths and use them "as is" too if I like!

I topped that fun background with the Bootcut die. The set includes lots of ways to embellish the basic boot design - you can add a stitched detail, flowers, stars, or this mesa design.

The set also includes some florals so you stuff the boot full of flowers. I added gem centers to the flowers as well as some gold glitter horseshoes and gems for even more bling!

I'm linking up to Time Out Challenges where they want you to make with something you love to do. Well I love to make personalized cards that make the recipient feel extra special. This card is for my daughter in law who loves anything country!

Hello Sunshine!

I hope you're having a great day! We've been busy getting ready for Christmas! Who knew we had so many boxes of decorations accumulated? Each one is special and brings back memories of a time or place in our lives.

More than anything this time of year I'm missing time spent outside and my flower garden. Whenever that happens I turn to my craft room for a sweet escape. It's my favorite way to loose myself and just relax.

These gorgeous blooms are from the You Are My Sunshine Collection from Pretty Little Studio. I love the watercolor look and how realistic they are! Even a little bee can't resist these pretties!

This collection has ALL the extras.. journaling cards, die cuts, borders, stickers, vellum, clear sheets and even "accent" collage style sheets so you don't have to mix them yourself. Even the packaging is pretty enough to use on your designs.

Foliage Greetings

Hello and thanks for stopping by! I hope you're having a great day! Today I'm sharing two cards made with the Foliage Foilable sheet and coordinating stencil set.

  

The Foliage Foilables pack includes eight 5.5 x 8.5" sheets. They're easy to foil with your favorite Cheerfoil and Minc Foiling Machine. I love that the sheets are easy to foil in one pass of your machine and the impression is always perfect. I used Glitzy Gold Cheerfoil for some extra sparkle.

Once your panel is foiled you can add colorful ink with the coordinating Foilage Stencil set. I used washi tape to secure the foiled panel in place while inking. I did try using a gel craft mat to hold the paper in place but it didn't release from the mat when I was done. I love color so I added all of my favorites!

I used the nested Stitched Rectangles sets one and two to cut the foiled / inked panel as well as a colorful background mat. I love the stitched detail along the edges that elevates the design.

One colored panel made the perfect background for TWO beautiful A2 sized cards. I selected two sentiments from the Simple Greetings die set and cut them in colors to coordinate with the matted background. I cut the sentiment background from gold glitter paper to stack under the cardstock sentiment to add a little more sparkle to the design.

Some Gold Sticky Gems are the last little embellishment. I wish you could see this sparkler in person! Hugs!

Leafy Hello

Sending you an Autumn leafy hello today as we step into fall. I love the change of season that brings cooler temps and the most beautiful foliage!
  

I wanted to capture all of my favorite fall colors so I started with a color block background of 1/2" strips of colorful cardstock. I started with reds, oranges and yellow, and ended in shades of green.

The new Leafy Set 3 dies come with s detailed and solid die for each of the three different stems in the set. I cut the detailed outline die from white cardstock and the background solid die from aqua cardstock. I chose aqua because it was not one of the colors used in the background so I knew it would contrast well. Stacking them together allowed the aqua to show through the openings in the detailed white leaves - no inlays required.

I didn't want to cover up that gorgeous background too much so I added a "hello" sentiment from the Card Essentials 1 die set. To add a little sparkle I cut the background die from gold glitter paper and added a sprinkle of Gold Sticky Jewels. The sentiment is from Sweet Birds Sentiments and is cut with the small 1/4" Sentiment Strips.

I love this Leafy die set, and know it's going to be gorgeous any time of year! I love sets that can translate to different seasons and occasions. Have a great day and I hope you find some time to make!
