Pink & Main Instagram Hop & Giveaway!

The Pink & Main January release is here! There are adorable new goodies for your spring and Easter cards, with new stamps, dies, embellishments, and fun things to foil - some with coordinating stencils, too!

And since it’s January, we are introducing our new monthly series for 2025! This is the new January Mouse. This is a small stamp set that includes the mouse, chick, two eggs, butterfly and a few sentiments.

The light pink background has been dry embossed with a basket pattern. I topped that with the new Stitched Oblong Oval. This is a nested set and you can cut as many or as few as you like. I wanted to repeat the stripe pattern on the eggs so I did three layers in colored cardstock.

I added a twine bow along the top to look like it might be holding up the sentiment strip, and little butterflies flit about. Do you love those pink gems? They're new too!

Sweets for the Gardener!

This one is for all the gardeners out there! I love the clever Big Easter Cupcake from Pretty Pink Posh. This die set includes one big cupcake and LOTS of accessories. You can turn this cupcake into a chick or bunny, and decorate it with eggs, flowers, or carrots like my card!

I can't wait to get my hands dirty and start planting! I translated this fun cupcake into a garden design. The chocolate frosting is the "soil" for the carrots.

The sentiment is a simple "hi" that's cut into a garden stake - both are included in the set! I tucked some grass and flowers around the carrots to make it extra yummy.

The background is a simple stack of hex borders from the Stacked Edges 2 set. I love these borders because they fit together like puzzle pieces giving you a clean flat, textured background for your designs.

You're Egg-Stra Special

Hippity Hoppity Easter's on it's way! I sure hope the Easter Bunny stops at my house! I was beginning to think those days are over but now that I'm a grandma I am sure that I'm on his list!

Today I'm playing along at Tuesday Morning Sketches where this is the sketch this week.

This sketch is perfect for ANY image in your stash. The oval frame makes the perfect focal point for your design.

I used a Scallop Oval for my focus. I cut the inside negative piece from yellow cardstock and then added a design to it with the Pierced Leafy Vine die from Pretty Pink Posh.

My focal point is the yummy Big Easter Cupcake that comes with LOTS of accessories like these eggs grass and florals. I love the little garden stake that you can add a sentiment to. The "hi" sentiment is also included in the set. The striped background is a stack of blue border dies stacked together.

Happy Easter Shaker

Today I'm playing at the Cutie Pie Challenge where they're looking for Easter/Mother's Day designs. I'm excited to see colorful flowers in the yard again so I thought I'd share this Easter card featuring a beautiful Layered Crocus from Waffle Flower Crafts. 

Instead of patterned paper, I created my own with a four layer Daisy Pattern stencil. It was easy to ink in primary colors.

I used a nested egg to create a focal point for my crocus and Happy Easter Duo sentiment. By cutting two of the nested die eggs at the same time I created a frame in solid pink.

If you look close you'll see that the egg shaped frame actually is the foundation for a shaker filled with colorful and sparkly sequins!

Even though this is a shaker design, it's still relatively flat as you can see from this angled photograph.

Easter Fuzzies

Today I'm sending you some total cuteness with an Easter card featuring the Pink & Main Easter Fuzzies Stamp Set. This set includes the sweetest bunnies and chicks perfect for your Spring and Easter creations for friends and family!

Whenever I receive a new stamp set I stamp multiple images and then color them in different shades. I cut them all out with the coordinating die set, and then when I'm ready to make everything is ready to go. These images were super easy to color with their clean line designs. My bunnies are uncolored except for a touch of blush for rosy cheeks and insides of ears.

I arrange my images on a piece of clear cardstock the same size as my card base. This really helps me decide what top put where before I commit and adhere everything in place. This time I decided on a Reverse Scallop circle die cut to create a focal point for the sweet images.

I love that this set even includes a few sentiments AND that the matching die set has cut outs for those too! So everything I need to make with this set is included in the stamp and die set - no label die or separate sentiment stamp set required!

My background papers are from the new Pop Flowers 6" paper pad. I appreciate that the cover of the pad has a sample of each pattern in the pack and is made of the same paper as the prints in the pack. I actually used the cover of the pad for the background papers on this card so there is little waste.
