My Creative Scrapbook December 2025 Main Kit

I love the traditional reds and greens in this collection, particularly the touch of mint that is unexpected and really pleasing to the eye.

There's loads of sentiments in the die cut pack as well as the puffy sticker sheet. The strings of ornaments are lots of fun and they add a touch of whimsy to the design with their curly ends!

I like to use the 3x4" journaling cards to create focal points for my designs. I don't limit myself to whatever sentiment is printed on them, it's easy to cover them with images or perhaps a larger sentiment.. it's all up to you!

I make my own sheets of foam adhesive by purchasing inexpensive craft foam and adding double sided tape to the front and back. Then I just cut the size I need to raise small or large embellishments. Adding some dimension this way gives your designs a fussier layered look.

Everything you see on my cards is included in the kit EXCEPT for the white cardstock card bases, solid cardstock cover matts, adhesives and gems. Things that you already probably have in your stash right now.

Christmas Elves

Today I'm playing at Cardz 4 Galz where they're looking for "Cute Christmas" this time. I think these Christmas Elves from Pink & Main totally qualify!

This stamp set includes six different elves, a Christmas Tree and lots of little accessories including presents, a teddy bear, toy car and more!

I had fun arranging the images to create a scene on a background of pattern paper from the Kraft Christmas Paper Pack. I added some Waves and Scallops to add a little dimension.

The stamp set even includes a few sentiments. I cut out one using the largest sentiment strip - they come in 1/4" 1/2" and 3/4" widths so you can find one for most sentiments.

When I create I first like to go through my supplies because I think it’s so important to know exactly what I have to work with. I cut apart the 3x4” journaling cards and spread out all the die cuts. I sort them into groups like sentiments, trees, ornaments, etc.

I use sheets of clear plastic the size of my card base to arrange my design. When I’m happy with the design I slide different papers under the clear plastic to get a preview of the card before I commit and adhere everything in place.

I like to make scene cards adding hills of pattern paper, and trees in the background. Strips of washi or pattern paper also help define the foreground so that images don't look like they're "floating".

Journaling cards make great focal points for your designs because the secret for me is to alternate busy pattern paper backgrounds with solid or lighter color papers to create focal points. Word strip stickers and washi define the layers and the perfect placement is always over a seam where two prints meet.

This kit is designed to answer all of your holiday papercraft needs. You can document special events, make cards and tags, or even place cards for the holiday meal. I even have some extras left over for embellishing my calendar pages.
