Thanks for stopping by! Today I'm reminding you to play along with the Sugar Pea Designs Mix It Up Challenge.

There are three different ways you can play along.. use the photo for inspiration, follow the sketch or work with the color swatches. 

I was inspired by the stripes in the sketch and the photo. I created a background with the Diagonal Striped Cover Plate. I inserted pieces of pattern paper from the Happy Holidays Paper Pad behind the stripes to look like the gift wrapped packages in the photo. 

Instead of a Christmas card I decided to make a Valentine! The big bear is from Hey Summer! He's waving his paw and holding on to a bitty flower for his sweetie! 

A little bird is perched above the Love Word with Shadow die cut and little hearts are scattered about cut from ombre shades of pink and gold.

Sugar Pea Designs Sweet Peek Week - Heart Prints

Thanks for visiting during the Sugar Pea Designs Sweet Peek Week! We made it! It's RELEASE day and the products are now available in the store! But before you rush over there.. we have one more new release set to share... HEART PRINTS. 

This stamp set includes hearts with several different patterns.. stripes, dots, woodgrain and solid. The Simple Heart Sugar Cut Die cuts them all out. I'm going to get a few of the heart dies so I can cut more than one at a time! 

I stamped the hearts with colorful ink on colored card stock and arranged them over a Geo Floral Cover panel. I wanted the background to look like lace under the colorful hearts.

The Valentine Word With Shadow is cut from white card stock and layered over gold glitter paper.

Sugar Pea Designs Sweet Peek Week Day 4 - Love Machine

Hi friends! It's Day 4 of the Sugar Pea Designs Sweet Peek Week. Only one more day before all of the new products are available in the store! Hang in there! Today we're showing the new Love Machine set and Brick Wall Stencil. 

I bet you're smiling about now! This set is ADORABLE! I inked the images with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored them with Copic Markers. You don't have to be a Copic expert to make these images look amazing.. Just a few shades of silver / grey and you're good to go. I gave my robots rosy cheeks to give them a more human appearance.

The Love Machines are arranged on some stacked Zig Zag Circles. I wanted to add some silver to make you think of machinery or hardware. The new Dangle Hearts Cover Plate is layered over a distress ink panel of pink and purple and studded with heart gems.

Sugar Pea Designs Sweet Peek Week Day 3 - Sentiments of Love

There is a little romance in the air today! It's Day 3 of the December Sugar Pea Designs Release. Today we're showing the new Sentiments of Love stamp set, Dangle Hearts Cover Plate and more!

My card starts with the Dangle Hearts Cover Plate. I cut the die several times with ombre shades of pink and red and inlaid the strips in the die cut openings.

The heart in the center of the panel is white. I topped it with a pink colored one cut with the new Simple Heart Sugar cut die (you'll see more of that soon!).

The new Love Word with Shadow takes center attention cut from white card stock and layered over gold glitter paper. The Sentiments of Love coordinating stamp set has just the right words to pair with the Love word die.
