Love You To The Moon & Back Layout

Hello Everyone - thanks for stopping by my blog today.
I am packing up for a scrapbooking weekend away but before I load up my car I have a layout to share with you today.

This layout features Stamps from Fleurette Bloom.

Here is my layout:

First I did a print and cut of the moon from the Fleurette Bloom’s

Sun Moon & Stars Digi Die cuts & Digi Stamps

I then colored the moon using Copic Markers.
I cut the title on my Cameo. Font is called MoonLight (how appropriate is that?)

I cut the SVGs from the Digi Die Cuts and stamped with Fleurette Bloom’s

Sun Moon & Stars Clear Photopolymer Stamps

I added some gems and my photos on to the background patterned papers.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed my layout.

Don’t forget to stop by the Fleurette Bloom Store.

Stop back again - I'll have plenty to more to share after my crafty weekend away!

Valentine Bubble Gum Treats

So what ya working on this weekend? Valentine treats?
I made these Valentine Treats for my son’s first grade class.
They were so fast and easy to put together.

I picked up these Hubba Bubba Bubble Gums.
Cut the scallops on my Sizzix using SVG Cuts 24 Valentines SVG Kit. (Peace Sign)
I also cut circles in a few patterned papers.

I then cut the Stampables and stamped those using
Punkin’ Patch Stamps All You Need Is Love Stamps.
I printed a little message from my son and applied.

Hope you had a good week and wishing you a fun, crafty weekend!

More Treats for School

My son, Will, picked out mini candies for his classmates. I placed them in a bag and added a quick and easy tag. Made 22 of these in no time at all and we're all ready for the Christmas Party!

Here is a look:

I used Stamps from Punkin’ Patch Stamps ~ Holiday Traditions ~ for these along with their free Stampables. I imported the SVG for the Stampable into SCAL and cut a bunch of them:

I wanted to attach the stamped scallop shape to the bag and decided to do some work in SCAL.
I took the SVG from the Stampable and added a Shadow effect to it. (rounded 1.25) I then made a large circle using basic shapes and welded that to the scallop shape. I added a smaller circle inside the larger circle (do not weld this).

Here is what it looks like in SCAL:

Check to make sure it will cut okay by clicking Preview.

I cut these using AC Cardstock and adhered the stamped scallop on top and attached to the treat bag. Simple & Easy!

Candy Cane Treats

Well it is not even December and I already have the treats done for my sons’ classmates. Making treats for the class are one of my favorite things to do. I let my boys pick out what they wanted to give their classmates. My 6 year old son picked out these bright colored candy canes.

I decided to make some sleds using the candy canes as the runners. Here is a look at the cuts I used. I imported them into SCAL (Sure Cuts Alot). The sled is from SVG Cuts ~ Rockin Around the Christmas Tree SVG Collection. I used the base of the sled and also created a shadow version of it in SCAL. I imported the Stampable from the Holiday Tradition stamps from Punkin’ Patch Stamps.

I cut the shadow of the sled using some silver holographic paper. It had snowflakes and worked perfect!

Next I cut the sleds, tags and stampables. I used three different colors to match the candy canes.
I also picked out three different colors of twine from the Twinery.

I stamped my stampables using my Punkin’ Patch Stamps. I always cut extra just incase I mess up. Still mastering the art of stamping.

Next apply the stampables to the tags and attach the tags to the sled using the twine. Attach the sled to the sled base.

Next attach two candy canes to the bottom of each sled. I used wide packing tape to attach.

Punkin’ Patch Stamps is having a Cyber Monday Sale -Save 40% on your entire purchase and get FREE shipping if you buy two or more sets of stamps ~ Expires midnight Monday.

Introducing Stampables

So SVG Cuts and Punkin’ Patch Stamps are both owned by the wonderful Leo & Mary. They created the perfect combination....Stampables. You may be asked what are Stampables? Well I did a little project with stampables and here is how I did it.

Step 1 ~ I cut the candy wrappers from the latest SVG Cuts Kit ~ Party On Elm Street. I adjusted the size slightly to hold two Kit Kats instead of just one. Papers by DCWV Midnight Spell.

Step 2 ~ Got out my Trick or Treat Stamps from Punkin’ Patch Stamps and figured out which ones would fit nicely on my candy wrappers. Also got out my ink & blocks.

Step 3 ~ Imported my Free Stampable SVGs into SCAL and cut my AC Cardstock. I always cut extra - I am new to stamping and don’t have my technique perfected.

Step 4 ~ Stamped my paper.

Step 5 ~ Attached my stamped cutouts to my candy wrappers with some foam tape. And here is my final product.

Thanks for stopping by!

Scrappin Collage

I made this Collage for my Scrap Area. I was on a roll one night and created it in a few hours. It is designed to fit a 12 x 12 Shadowbox Frame. They sell these frames at Joann’s or Michael’s. I used the ribbon as my color scheme throughout.

Here is the collage:

Here are some detail shots:

A majority of the files are from SVG Cuts.
If you see a particular cut and want to know which collection it is from just send me an email. am220099@gmail.com

Have a fantastic weekend!

Split Negative Challenge - JUGS

When I saw the challenge for JUGS (Just Us Girls) I knew I wanted to jump in on this one. I created this wall hanging for a friend of mine. She is expecting her first baby.

This is a split negative technique I used.

Here are the details:

Step 1 - I stamped one side of the butterfly swirlies. Black on white paper.

Step 2 - Scanned in and took into Photoshop. Under Image-Adjustment-Curves I dragged the points to opposite corners to create the look of white stamps on black paper. I then Flipped the Canvas Horizontal of the initial scan to get the mirror image. Printed both out.

Step 3 - Created the butterfly image and cut out of chipboard (cereal box) on the Cricut. Mounted the printouts to this and inked the edges.

Step 4 - Since I already had the stamped images digitally I placed those in Illustrator and created the cutouts around the stamped areas using the pen tool.

Step 5 - I cut the plain black and white paper using the butterfly with the cutouts and also cut a chipboard version. I spray glued the white and black paper to the chipboard for the top layer. Inked the edges.

Step 6 - I added some dimensional tape to the back of the top layer and applied to the bottom layer. Added the center of the butterfly.

Step 7 - Added embellishments from Creative Charms and a ribbon to hang it. I hand wrote a special note on the back using a white pen.

Please send me an email or leave a comment if you'd like more details. My tutorial is just the basics but hope it helps. It really was a fun project and I'm sure I'll be using this technique again!

Congrats Card

My son's Kindergarten teacher won Outstanding Educator and I made a card to congratulate her. Here is a peak at it. I purchased (for the first time) some rubber stamps that mount to the clear blocks at Joanne's. These are my first stamps ever.

Wow - these were so fun! I stamped the flower on green stock using peurple ink and added a button and Stickles.

Have a great day!
