I'm sharing on the Miss Kate Cuttable's Blog today. I have some fun Birthday Cards I created.

Before we check out my cards just a reminder to check out the Freebie of the Day!

Here's my first card. I used the Flower Group file and did as a print and cut.

I added a small print and cut of the same file and placed on the flap of the envelope.

Here's another card I created. I used the Flower Group file.
I did a print and cut on my Cameo and added some foam tape under the flowers to pop them off.

Gatefold Birthday Cards

Hello Everyone - It's my turn on the Miss Kate's Blog. I like to give handcrafted Birthday Cards throughout the year. I like to create a bunch at a time so I have them whenever I need them.

I use the Print and Cut method on my Cameo for the cards. I first select all the elements and open them in the Cameo Designer Edition software. I print this out and include the registration marks.

I then trace the elements and do an offset. (This is indicated with the red outline on the image below.) I place the paper on my mat, detect registration marks and then select the outline areas and indicate those to cut.

Here are my cards:
These are both gatefold cards and I'm sharing the outside and inside views.
The flat card is 10" wide x 7" high and each fold comes in 2.5" from the edges.

I used the following Miss Kate files:

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope this gives you some inspiration to get some Birthday Cards completed for 2017!

Travel Challenge - Miss Kate Cuttables

Hello - It's Challenge Time over on the Miss Kate Cuttables Galleria Facebook Page! The theme for this challenge is Travel. I made a card to give to a friend who is going on a special trip.

I used the Icons from the Travel Icon Set. I did a print and cut on my Cameo. Here is a screen capture to show how I layed them out and did a slight offset. (Make sure you make your cut line a no fill before you print it)

As I was starting to apply on my card I thought - how am I going to get these to line up nice?
Well I took all the images and did an offset in the Designer Edition and did a dashed border. (Screen cap below)
I then used the pen tool to draw the outlines on my cardstock (actually used 4 different pen tool colors!)
I then added foam tape under the print and cuts and applied to the card.

Here's a look at the inside of my card:

I could not find the title I wanted so I created one from multiple files. Here's a closeup:

Make is from "Make a Wish Title."

The Happy is from "Birthday Words Set".

Memories is from the "Travel Words Set"

Hope you enjoyed my travel theme project. Don't forget to stop on over to the Galleria FB page for more info.
