BESTIES VALENTINE

HELLO AND WELCOME TO MY BLOG. WELL IT'S A CLOUDY DAY HERE SO LET'S SEE IF I CAN BRING SOME SUNSHINE TO SUCH A DULL DAY.

TODAY I GOT TO PLAY WITH A GORGEOUS DIGI IMAGE FROM THE GORGEOUS SHERRI BALDY. IT'S FROM THE 'BESTIES VALENTINE' COLLECTION, ITEM NUMBER Item ID: 107035 IMAGE 215, AND YOU CAN GET IT FROM HERE www.scrapbookstampsociety.com THERE ARE SO MANY FABULOUS DIGI'S, STAMPS AND DECOUPAGE DOWNLOADS.

THE LIGHT WASN'T VERY GOOD WHEN I TOOK THE PHOTOS BUT THE IMAGE IS A GORGEOUS ONE AND SUCH A JOY TO COLOUR IN.

 I USED MY SPECTRUM NOIR PENS TO COLOUR HER IN, I USED FOUR COLOURS AND OF COURSE SOME GLITTER.

I HAD LOTS OF FUN USING DIFFERENT DIES, I USED THE VINTAGE SPELLBINDER DIE TO CUT HER OUT IN PURPLE MIRRI CARD, MOUNTED ON SILVER MIRRI CARD AND BACKED ON WHITE CARD STOCK, DISTRESS WITH SEEDLESS PRESERVES, SUCH A LOVELY COLOUR FROM TIM HOLTZ RANGER. I ALSO USED 'TATTERED LACE LARGE DIE THAT CAME WITH THE PICK OF THE DAY COLLECTION. IT IS GORGEOUS AND CUTS SO WELL.

OF COURSE I HAD TO ADD SOME BLOOMS AS I LOVE A FLOWER AND THE COLOURS WORK SO WELL WITH THE COLOUR TONES

 AND TO FINISH THE CARD OFF I ADDED SOME BUTTERFLIES AND SOME LACE.

SHE IS SUPER CUTE AND SO MUCH FUN TO COLOUR IN, I USED MY SPECTRUM NOIR PENS. I THEN CUT HER OUT AND ADDED SOME LOVELY GLITTER TO HER CLOTHES, I LOVE A BIT OF SPARKLE.

 I ADDED SOME BEAUTIFUL LACE FROM CREATIVE EXPRESSION AND SOME RED ROSES AND GEMS FROM MY CRAFT STASH

 AS YOU CAN TELL I LOVE GLITTER, LOVE LOVE LOVE SPARKLE

 THE PAPER IS FROM A PAD OF 12X12 THAT I GOT FROM HOBBY CRAFT, I THINK ITS THEIR OWN BRAND AND ITS DOUBLE SIDED,

 FOUND THESE ROSES THAT I HAD GOT LAST YEAR AND I ADDED SOME HAT PINS AND HEART GEMS

Birthday Violin

This cute violinist is by Sherri Baldy and can be found here.   I colored her Spectrum Noir markers and really wish I had Wink of Stella shimmer pen to add to her flowers.  It's on my crafty shopping list for sure.   I used my favorite color combo, purple & teal.  I stamped the background music and sentiment with Latina Crafter's Citas favoritas stamp set.

Carrot Cruiser

Ready 4 Spring

Spring has arrived in Southern California along with a swarm of earthquakes.  We've been rockin' n rollin' for a couple of weeks now.  Some strong ones others just a lil' shakers.

My card features Magadelena digital stamp designed by Sherri Baldy.  I colored her with Spectrum Noir markers and this time I kept the list of the colors used. Yay me!

I searched high and low for brown/red/yellow paper to enter a  challenge, only to find the paper right under my nose!  BasicGrey's Fiction!  LOL  I loved how she turned out.  I use Spectrum Noir markers to color and added a bit of Stickles.
