The Best Joke ... Ever!
I should have scheduled this post yesterday ... but then I thought ... I have to be up early in the morning ... so I will type it out and post it then! Did I? No! I forgot! My plans changed and I forgot!
And now it is very late!
Late for what? I hear you ask ... Well! Basically I am late telling you that all the destructions (that's a wonderful Lin Brown ism) to make this foldy booky thing are up on the Craft Barn blog today!
I know it looks a bit tricky ... but you trust me right? So when I say it really is n't ... well you know it really is n't! All the ingredients and measurements are there too ... so if you fancy making one ... do come back and share ... I would LOVE to see what you do!
I need to say "GRRR" at this point too ... Mr Blogger is playing up as I type ... If he does n't leave my pictures where I have carefully placed them ... I may have to virtually slap his legs!
The Rosette and charms are of course Lord Tim of Holtz ... you know Tim ... the man that made Joseph's original technicolour dream coat while designing St. Paul's Cathedral with just a spritz of Ranger Color wash and a smidge of Wonder Tape.
The flowers are from Mr and Mrs Paper Artsy ... LOVE them!
Anyways ... I have a special treat for you today ... I heard the best joke yesterday ... do you want to hear it? Erm ... Well read it anyways??
Here goes ...
I was on Safari in Africa last week and the tour guide was naming diiferent groups of animals.
"That's a pride of lions" he said.
"A tower of giraffes"
"A flight of birds"
Then he said "herd of elephants"
So I said "Yes"
Have a good day people ... well ... erm ... afternoon anyway ... and if you know any good jokes ... don't forget to share!
Laters!

Tim's Tag V - VIII
It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas!
I had a spare few minutes ... yup ... got there in the end ... bring it on ... it is official ... I am now ready for Christmas!
I have literally just finished my last few cards ... I know ... I know ... I have cut it a bit fine ... but here we are!
I just thought I would share the next set of my Tim tag inspired Christmas cards ... you know Tim ... the man that got ready for Christmas on January the first while entertaining old folks at the same time as rescuing Santa's little helper ... who had too many mince pies and got stuck up a tree ...
My Christmas tree perched on the car was sparkled with glitter and dimensional fabric paint ... not very practical to be honest ... but it is all I had ... and I will spend Christmas in the knowledge that my Dad will be sparkling all day :0)
I am afraid these are not the best pictures I have ever taken either ... tad rushed you see ... did n't have time for the micro wotsit that Mr Kodak told me all about earlier this year ... Hey Ho! ... or rather Ho Ho ... you get the idea :0)
On this last card I had very little of the right stuff ... so it is more or less completely improvisation on my part!
I hope Santa brings you all health, wealth and everything else you asked for on your lists.
Happy Christmas everyone!

Timmy's Tags I - IV '09
If I thought I was ill Friday ... well that was nothing compared to Saturday ... it was Sunday before I felt remotely human again ... that means with enough energy to craft ... and although I had the energy my MOJO had scarpered ... so I turned to Tim ... the man that can cook up crafty goodness during a long and complex design meeting where he could create a further 7 wonders of the world ... in a hour ... if he wanted to!
Anyways ... when I say I turned to him ... he was n't next to me or nothing *swoon* I mean I went straight to his 12 Chrimbo tags and created his backgrounds for the first four ... as closely as I could ... materials allowing etc.,
Next I added this lovely little chappie ... full of Joy ... from Stampotique ... and turned the tags into Christmas cards for my and OH's sons! They will all look like the image at some point over the holiday season ... trust me! I just added a dabber and distress background to each ... a Wendy Vecchi text stamp and I am rather pleased at the result.
Now I just need to either find my MOJO or turn the other 8 tags into Christmas cards for my daughter ... our parents ... you get the picture :0)
I am also finding my new Scor-it a god send .... it does n't matter what I create .... no more digging through pre cut card stock for the right size and inevitably chopping a lump off... the Scor-it makes life soooooo much easier!
Thank you for all your well wishes ... the chocolate has n't arrived yet ... nor have the grapes come to think of it ... maybe tomorrow :0)
It is snowing again here and Christmas is only 4 days away and I have still not wrapped any presents ... or delivered them .... which is quite obvious if they are n't actually wrapped! If I get snowed in now ... well that would be a complete disaster! I would actually have to cancel Christmas.
I do hope it is not too bad near you ... take care and have a great week!

It Must Be Love!
Luckily John is computer illiterate so there is absolutely no chance that he will see this post! I have actually made him an anniversary card! He is going to be sooooo surprised ... the last couple of anniversaries and birthdays ... I have been out and bought one ... I know ... I know!
This Friday will be the 10th anniversary of our first date together! I turn it into a big event every year because I really like presents and this is a fab way of getting some :0)
I know I sound really shallow and greedy ... well ... that is because ... erm ... I am :0)
You know I did n't mention the rain in my post yesterday ... in case I jinxed it ... well it did n't make the slightest bit of difference ... as soon as I hit the publish key ... it poured and poured! And it is still raining!!! Just in case you thought I was having a nice sunny day when the rest of you were n't!
I hope you all have a good week whatever you are doing ... Byeeeeee!

Scor-it!
1. Cut four pieces of card 8 ¼” by 5 ¾”
2. Score all four pieces of card 2 1/16” from each end to form a tri-fold.
3. On one piece score again at 1 7/8“ from each end to form a mini spine.
4. Line all the corners up and round them off together using the Zutter ½” Round-it-all.
5. Cut a further piece of card 8” by 5 ½“ and score down the middle and round all four corners.
6. Line the three tri-fold cards up end to end and tape the middle flaps to the outer two cards so you now have a long card.
7. On your spined card make holes at 2 ¾” and 3 ½” approx ¾” in from the spine on each side with your Zutter Rivet hole punch tool.
8. Now cut a straight line from each edge of your circle to form a slot.
9. Feed a piece of ribbon through the slot that is long enough to go around the card and tie.
10. Adhere the back of the middle part of your long card to cover the ribbon part of your spined card.
11. Adhere your final card to the front of the middle part of your long card to form an insert.
12. Decorate as desired!
