This'n that's...

10 million loose threads...
I've had this "Grandma squares" blanket-to-be laying 'dead' for some months.
Yesterday I mounted the squares and I got myself a ittybittytiny blanket *lol*
- and tons of ittybittytiny bits of yarn! I don't know how many times I've told myself to
mount the ends right ahead when one square is made... Yeah, right... allready forgotten!  

This is the little cutie: not bigger than 30 x 50 cm...
Nice to have something to work on during the summer, right?

And I've got new shoes! Red ones:

Both with "banana heals" - as trendy as can be! :)

My first meeting with little Ida ♥

Today I'm visiting little Ida for the very first time and I'm so excited ♥
Actually it's my first visit in their house too. I know, it's about time...
I'm loading my camera - all ready for some photoshoots :)

And, I've made the little beauty a tiny wall hanging picture too.

Homemade pillow - hjemmelaget pute

I've finally made my first homemade pillow! *taadaadaa!* I've used leftovers from the Ida-carpet and this is the first one - a green & blue. I'll show you the red-pink-orange when I've found a fitting textile in these colors for the back of the pillow... Time to go hunting :)

In just a few weeks I'm no longer just Åshild, but Aunt Åshild! My little sister is having a baby in April - a babygirl. So, this soft blanket is for you, Sweet Ida ♥ I'm so looking forward to meet you!

I've used some of my lovely textiles to make the blanket. And it's filled/ stuffed with to layers of fleece. It's both warm and soft, and hopefully she'll enjoy using it.

More hearts

Just a picture of some more hearts... Made 3 new ones yesterday.
Now I have to go hunting for some more colorful buttons.
I've tons of buttons, but all brownish colored...
I like them to be bright! Playfull! Happy!

Back to work... I'm writing a text from the last week at my Art Therapy study. The main theme is "sensing".

I've played with my sewing machine *juuhuuu* Made a couple of hearts - and still have alot to learn... *lol* But, just need some more practise... Above is the first one, showing one of the sides. Under is the back:
