Suss og blomster - Kisses and flowers

Nok et sjarmerende motiv fra Mo's digistamps. Cute as candy! Med kun noen få typer pyntepapir, har jeg fargelagt motivet med utgangspunkt i mønsterarkets farger. Og oppdaget etterpå at det var minimalt med pynt og stæsj som passe til, så da måtte jeg trikse og mikse med det jeg hadde... Jeg tror jommen jeg sniker dette med på ukens 2S4Y-utfordring også. Mener at kortet, med en dose goodwill, kan passe skissen... :)

One more charmy motif from Mo's digistamps. Cute as candy! I'm still at our summer house and with only a few design papers I've colored the motif with the same colors as on one of the papers. After finishing the coloring I realized that I had no fitting embellishment at all... Well, had to use my creativity and make something fit! I think that this card, with a doze of goodwill, matches the 2S4Y-challenge this week... :)

Det regner visst fortsatt ute, så nå er det ingen grunn til å utsette rapportskrivingen lenger... Så får jeg heller premiere meg selv med litt kreative sysler i kveld, etter endt arbeidsøkt! Ha en finfin sommerdag :)

2S4Y - Kazan's sketch #32

I've used Kazan's sketch to decorate a box filled with gooseberry - fresh from my own garden. The box is a birthday present.

There is a booklet glued on top of the box. (Text say: "Jummy - enjoy your day!")
Inside the booklet there is a greeting along with several recepies for the use of gooseberries.

And - of course - lots of gooseberries:

I hope she likes gooseberries... *lol*

2S4Y - Laura's sketch #31

Time for a new 2S4Y-sketch. This week Laura has made a great sketch that filled my crazy head with ideas. That I can like! And as usual the finished card ends up totally different from what I had planned.... A soft and romantic look this time:

Outside it's raining... I guess I just have to keep up my creative work indoors. What a pity *lol* Wish you all a great day!

I haven't been entering a 2S4U-challenge for ages... and I've missed it! I'm a big fan of Kazan & Laura's great sketches. This week Kazan is the designer and here is my entry.

2S4Y on canvas

I did some cleaning in my studio and found this cute little canvas. It's one of the "Deep Edge" ones, sized 10 x 10 cm. Love 'em :) They can both hang on the wall and stand on a table. So versatile!

It's been so long since I used a 2S4Y sketch, but this week's sketch suited me perfect for this little deep edgy canvas project of mine! I just flipped the sketch...

The canvas is painted and decorated with scraps and a baby photo of mine. I've used decoupage glue and beeswax to seal the pieces to the canvas. Thanks for looking :) And happy Easter!

2S4Y - Kazan's sketch #18

First of all: The newest issue of our mag is soon to come! For those of you that are subscribers, you'll have your mag in just some days. For the rest of you - the mag will hit the shop's stands at February 1st. We're so pleased to have Kazan & Laura as our Guest Designers this time. They've made some fabulous sketches and cards for us. Thanks a lot, girls! You rock :)

As a thank to the Cover Girls, I've made a card using Kazan's sketch. And I have to admit it - this sketch was a tricky one... The card didn't at all turned out the way I wanted it to.

I've used Thickers to write the word "Thank you".

This text is a stamp from Stempelglede. I've added Glossy Accent on it in order to make it look like glass. The black frames are hand stiched.

The flowers are made of beads.

2 sketches 4 you - Kazan's sketch #15

Jeg har ikke hatt muligheten til å lage bidrag til 2S4Y de siste ukene, men i dag har jeg virkelig hatt en super kreativ økt! Nok en gang er skissen veldig god å jobbe etter (Tusen takk, kjære dere *klem*) og her er bidraget mitt - sammen med en trinn for trinn. Kortet er et skikkelig kaoskort, men forhåpentligvis gir bildene likevel en liten smak av prosessen. Takk for at du er innom meg :) I didn't had the chance to make 2S4Y-cards the last couple of weeks, but today I did! Once again a great sketch (Thank you, dear friends *hugs*) and here is my entry - along with a tutorial. This is a 'messy' card, but hopefulle the pictures will give you a tiny taste of the prosess. Thanks for stopping by :)

Stemple på akvarellpapir. Use watercolor paper and do some stamping on the background paper.

Tilpass en bit fra en gammel bok, rufs til kantene og svert dem i brunt. Adjust a piece of an old book, scratch the edges and ink'em in brown.

Lim papiret på og stemple litt mer. Glue the paper together and do some more stamping.

Bruk en vannpensel og litt Distress til å myke opp det hvite papiret. Use a waterbrush and some Distress Ink to soften the white paper.

For å få bakgrunnen til å skinne litt, spray med Shimmering Mist og Glimmer Mist. To add some glimmer to the background, use Shimmering Mist and Glimmer Mist.

La siden tørke (eller, for mine utålmodige venner - bruk varmepistolen!). Let the page dry (or, for my impatient friends - use the heat gun!).

Lim på noen utstansede figurer. Add some diecuts.

Dekk hele papirbiten med embossingblekk og blankt embossingpulver. Cover the whole piece of paper with embossing ink and clear embossing powder.

Det vil gi bakgrunnen din en stilig overflate. It'll give your background a great finish.

Gjenta de første trinnene når du lager motiv-taggen. Repeat the first steps when making the motif tag.

Bruk et utklipp (Lisa's altered art) som motiv. Use a piece of clip art (from Lisa's altered art) as motif.

Og når jeg skulle ha på embossingpulver, så gjorde jeg feil og brukte hvitt pulver istedenfor klart.... uuuæææh...! Men med en våtserviett fikk jeg tørket bort det meste... And when adding embossingpowder, I made a mistake and used white powder instead of clear... Iiikkk...! But with a baby whipe I managed to wash of most of it...

Heldigvis ble det faktisk litt stilig. Luckily I like the way it all turned out.

Nok en gang helembosser jeg, denne gangen med den riktige sorten; UTEE / Amazing Glaze. Embossing powder once more - this time with the right one; UTEE / Amazing Glaze.

Som en siste finish har jeg lagt på litt glitterlim her og der. As a finish, I've added some sparkling glitter glue.

Motivet er montert til bakgrunnen med limputer. The motiv is mounted on the background with glue pads.
