Sassy Scrapers Love to Love you

Hi There! I'm typing this on a Sunday arvo still sitting in my PJ's with the central heating blasting away because it is sooooooooooo cold!! Hopefully by the time this posts the sun has come out for us again! This month I am playing with another Kaisercraft collection Porcelain Rose for Sassy Scrapper. On first glance the colours might scare some of you away as there are some really rich blue, red & black colour combos but there is also a much softer colour palette throughout the collection of white, dusty pink & olive green. It gives this collection a really versatile look. I decided to play with the richer colours first as they are colours I don't usually work with & I was keen to play with something different! (plus I had cute photos of Kayla wearing a red dress & wanted to play matchy matchy's!) This page is based on this months Sassy Scrapper sketch . I have flipped the sketch on it's side. (see sketch at the bottom of the post)

I have created layers by fussy cutting some of the images & mixing in some collectables.

G45 Secret Garden Sassy Scrappers

Hi There!
This month I have the extreme pleasure of playing with Graphic 45 Secret Garden. This is just such a gorgeous collection! I could just sit & fussy cut all the gorgeous images for hours!
Earlier this month the sketch challenge was released. A fabulous sketch designed by our very own Rikki Graziani!

Here is my interpretation of the sketch using a more traditional/vintage design

My kids love the Pancake Parlour! It is tradition for us to travel to Melbourne at Xmas time to visit Santa at Myers, check out the Myer windows & visit the Pancake Parlour for lunch. I'm not sure whether it's the giant milkshakes or the pancakes they like best!

Sassy SCrappers/Once Upon A Sketch

Hi There!

Ok I am DROOLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Divine was one of my Top 5 fav CHA releases & I was soooooooooooo excited when the gorgeous Olga sent me some Divine goodies to play with!! I just love the colours in this collection with the peach, pink, sea foam green & a splash of pastel blue & yellow for good measure!

So here is the page I created which is actually based on the March sketch at Once Upon A Sketch Blog. Sassy Scrappers is a monthly sponsor of this sketch site so for extra chances to win a Sassy Scrappers prize be sure to play along with the sketch challenge at Sassy Scrappers & at OUAS!

To add some interest to the edges of my page I fussy cut some of the hexagons out. Distressed the edges then inked with dark brown ink. I then taped some lace in some areas then stuck the page onto some Blue cardstock (also distressing & inking all the edges of the cardstock)

 The flowers are a mix of Prima flowers which are part of the Divine collection & also Kaisercraft Blooms

 I love mixing up fonts for my title. The grey in the sticker alpha sheet is so pretty in contrast with the peach alphas! I think my new addiction is Prima mini swirls. They are so cute & quickly add some bling to the page!

Love is in the Air- Sassy Scrapper

Hi There!

February is the month for love! I do love my Hubby to the moon & back but as a Mum I tend to scrap more about my love for my kids! This page is using the new Kaisercraft Flora Delight collection which is great for scrapping about family & loved ones.

The collectables pieces have lots of little quotes or titles about love & fufilling your dreams in this collection which I love to use on my pages but they are also perfect for cards

I focused on the grey & green colours in the collection for this page to give a nice soft background. Using the magenta for a pop of colour! I love this cheeky photo of my Evie Jools. In case you can't tell she is in the middle of a very BIG 'say CHEESE'!! LOL

The Kaisercraft 'love' Rub on also helped carry the theme throughout the page.

Sassy Scrapper/Kaisercraft Flora Delight

Hi There!

I am so happy to be sharing my first post here at Sassy Scrapper! Olga sent me some gorgeous Kaisercraft Flora Delight to play with this month! This is a brand new release from Kaisercraft for February. If you love florals & bright colours you will love this collection!

The orange & magenta colour scheme is so unique. I really enjoyed working with some different colours. This is me & my 3 kidlets Hunter 7, Kayla 4 & Evie 2 celebrating my birthday last year.

I decided to cut the specialty die cut paper in half because I thought the shape was so pretty & would add interest to the bottom of the page.
I have layered some stickers & collectables with some Kaisercraft & Green Tara flowers
