Nautical themed mini album

Hello and welcome to the blog today.

I have a mini album to share with a nautical theme.
It measures 4 1/2" x 5" with a 2 1/4" spine

I've used a paper pad from the Works and additional Craft Perfect papers from Tonic Studios.

I've taken a few screen shots of the album and hope you enjoy them.

As always every album is a joy to make but problems arise whilst making them and I think the challenge of getting around these little issues really makes them a fabulous challenge.

Thank you for calling in today.

Have a super week!

Would you like to win this album?

Just leave a comment below so I can know if you are interested.
This is also open to my FB followers as well.
I'll leave it for two weeks to give everyone a chance so check back on 8th July to see if you have won.
This is open to UK residents only because of the postage costs.

The winner will be chosen at random and the album will be posted out as soon as possible after the draw.

Draw is now closed

Hi I'm back with news of the winner of the mini album.

I popped all the names of the ladies who commented both on my blog and on my FB page into my container as I thought that would be the fairest way and this is the winner chosen by my hubby.

Congratulations to

Sarah please contact me via FB messages or the Contact details panel on my blog and I will arrange to have the package in the post asap!

Thank you to everyone who participated.

Inspire Mini Book

Hello and welcome to the blog this afternoon.

I have a mini album/book to share today that mainly happened by default.
After I had prepared the cover and spine I realised that it would have been better made with kraft card stock for the project I had in mind but I didn't want to waste the work so it evolved into a wee inspirational book instead.
There is still some room for photos but it's mainly for adding quotations, things that inspire you and all sorts of uplifting messages.

I nabbed some screen shots from my You Tube walk through

The first few shots are sideways on the video - oops! but it corrects itself. LOL
Editing isn't my strong point but I managed a few edits so perhaps with time I'll get the hang of the process.

The album is 4 1/2" x 5" with a 2 1/4" spine

Papers are from the Works and Papermania
Lots of the embellishments are digital from Simple Stories and AC Digital.

I talk through the elements on the video so I won't repeat them all here.

Here are a few of the pages in the book

Sorry the last one is a bit blurred but trying to capture it exactly at the right moment is another skill I have yet to master. 😃

Thank you for calling in today.
I hope you have a super weekend.

Remember Mini Album

Hi! and welcome to the blog today.

I have another album to share using Lemoncraft's 'Heart Painted' paper collection and I do hope you enjoy it.

I used some of the Anna Marie Blissful papers in green and cotton to supplement the Lemoncraft ones. They come in a pack of six designer papers and one basic pack with 12 sheets. I used every crumb of the designer paper. :)

I have a You Tube walk through if you would rather see the album that way.

Thank you so much for joining me today.

Have a great evening.

Nature Sketchbook Album in a box

Hello and welcome to the blog today.

I've just finished my latest album using Graphic 45's 'Nature's Sketchbook' tucked into it's very own custom box. I've been itching to do a boxed album for a while so I'm really pleased to have completed it.

Graphic 45 Nature's Sketchbook
8 x 8" paper pad
Ephemera pack
6 x 6" plains and solids
Die cut flowers and Chipboard embellishments

I have a walk through on You Tube where you can see the pages in depth, so much easier than trying to photograph them. Well, it is in principle! That's if they will upload for you in the first place. LOL

I bought the box and album chipboard kit from Clare Charvill of 'My Creative Spirit' so I had the pleasure of making them up and decorating my album.

I used Tonic Studios spine creator die and Memory Book 2 Base Creator dies for flips and flaps and tags in the album.

Here are some pics of the pages

The album measures 5 x 7" and the spine is 2 1/2" deep.
Because the album has to fit into the box, any fussy embellishments were out so the front and spine are relatively flat.
I was running on vapours with the papers. I had used some of the 8 x 8" pad on other projects so it was a bit of a juggling act to cover both the box and finish the album. I used the same design to cover the front, back and spine which meant I could utilise the back of the paper pad and I also used one of the images from the front of the paper pad to add interest to the front of the album. There's no waste with G45!

I hope you enjoy it today.

Making Memories

Hello and thank you for calling in today.

I have another album to share this time using papers from First Edition called 'Sweet Nothings'.

They aren't my usual choice but there's nothing like having a wee change.

The album is 6 1/2" x 6 1/2", the pages are 6 x 6"

I have a few pictures to share but also a walk through video as it was easier to show the pages that way so I hope you enjoy them.

Have a super day!

Good 'ol Sport album

Good morning and welcome to the weekend on the blog.

I have an album to share today that I've made for my Son in law's 40th birthday instead of a card.

It measures 5 1/2 x 7 1/2" and I've used Graphic 45's 'Good 'ol Sport' paper collection.

Sadly I didn't have any sporty charms for the spine so it's ended up with the ubiquitous lock and key embellies. 😄

As you can tell the lighting left a lot to be desired but I hope it gives you an idea of how it came together.

Have a great weekend and thank you for calling in.

Just a wee note. Tonic Studios are celebrating their 17th birthday on Hochanda for the next 9 -10 days. The first two days have seen sell outs and all sorts of excitement. Join the party, just check the schedule on the Hochanda web site for loads more goodies.

See you soon!
