Sweet 17

Hello and welcome to the blog today.

Recently I was asked to make some cards for a 17th birthday and these are what I came up with.

My first card (inspired by the lovely Bibi Cameron) was made using Tonic Studios Boho Chic 'Mariposa'

I coloured the die cut with Nuvo alcohol markers and used sentiment stamps from my stash.
I love the dimension with the butterflies and you get four in the set to play with.
I added glossy accents round the glasses frame and some gems to the flowers to finish.

My second card was stamped using a Debbie Moore freebie from Creative Stamping magazine.
I had the pixie powder background just waiting for something and this seemed like the perfect match to me.

The sentiment stamps are from magazine freebies as well.
I added some of my Nuvo twine to finish.

My third card features one of Tonic's 'It Girl' stamps that I have paper pieced.
Again the sentiment is from one of my magazine freebies.

I cut the numerals from the patterned paper and dotted the white space with Nuvo Crystal drops in Violet Galaxy.
I finished the card with some baker's twine.

I hope you enjoy these today.

Thank you for calling in and have a lovely day.

Mon Amour birthday card

Hi, just another quick post today.
It's hubby's birthday on Monday and I've actually managed to put a card together in time!
Go me!! 😉

I've used my most favourite papers in the world Graphic 45 and this is from the Mon Amour collection.

The die cut hearts are from Tonic Studios and the decorative accent is from Marianne Design. The rest is fussy cut with a chipboard embellie to finish.

I hope he likes it - it's for Valentine's Day as well. LOL
