Sparkle Dust and Celebration

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I'm continuing with the fabulous Sparkle Dust from Tonic Studios and this time I've used it on a male card just to prove we can bring a bit of bling into the cards for the men in our lives. :)

Tonic Products used -
Twisting Veranda layering dies
Family Members sentiment die
Rococo Football die
Red Berry Crystal Drops
Simple Stripes Embossing Folder

It is so difficult to show just how glittery the dust is but this is the best I could do. I applied a sheet of double sided adhesive to the base layer, placed the decorative die cut on top and then added the glitter dust to highlight the stripes.
The next layer was embossed to echo the stripe theme and the next layer treated as per the first.
I also glittered the backing of the football and the open spaces on the sentiment.
I think you can get away with a glittery male card if you keep the colour subdued and I really liked the finished effect.

The fabulous Rococo Celebration dies were also launched at the same time and my next card features the Rococo Celebration Cake die.

Tonic Products used -
Twisting Veranda layering die
Nuvo pens #391 and #405
Purple Rain Glitter drops
White Blizzard Glitter drops
Pink Champagne Glitter drops
Rococo Party Presents
Essentials Magnificent Magenta card stock
Silver Mirror card stock

I made a twisted easel and you may notice a theme with today's cards. :) I do love the Twisting Veranda layering dies.
The candles were glittered but unfortunately you can't see it in the pics try as I might to catch it.

You can have so much fun with these dies and, as with all Tonic dies, they all mix and match beautifully.

Thank you for joining me today.

Dear Santa

Hi and good afternoon. Welcome back!
It's a busy Tonic day on the blog with the launch of the glorious Sparkle dust and the Celebration Rococos.
These are a set of really useful dies for that special occasion and cover everything from Weddings to Birthdays and lots in between.
I'm sharing a card with a Christmas theme using the Rococo Petite Party Presents die set.

Tonic products used -
Jasmine Sunset for the card base
Topnote Trellis
Mini Moments Christmas Sentiment
Beautiful Bokeh Stencil
Silver Gem Glitter paste
'Tis the Season Christmas frame
Mirror card from the Christmas selection
Ruby Slippers Glitter drops
Rure Sheen Silver glitter

My lovely teamie Alison made a shaker card recently and I was reminded of just how much fun they can be so just had to have a go again. :)
I used the Bokeh stencil for the background and some of the yummy glitter paste as my snow effect.
I haven't used as much mirror card in a long time and this was the perfect excuse to have fun with the Party presents die.

I hope you are enjoying the demos and inspiration on Create & Craft today and over the weekend.

Thank you for calling in. :)
