Thank you for popping in this morning. It's the last of my Darice embossing folder samples today and I'm using the gorgeous 5 x 7" Basketweave folder. I love the bigger size and it just suits my latest 5 x 7" format. I don't know how long that will last but I am enjoying it. :)
For this card I've used Centura Pearl (16 x 16") card stock for the base
The lovely spring-like yellow from the Core'dinations Gemstones collection that I've embossed
The image is from the latest Stamp It 'Dreamy Daisies' release recently launched by Crafter's Companion and I've coloured it with Spectrum Noir pens.
The lace border is the Die'Sire Lace border 1 die
The butterfly is sitting on a Spellbinder Ironwork motif
The sentiment is from the Dreamy Daisy stamp set
Ribbon from my stash
I'm still trying to catch the shimmer of this beautiful card stock but not quite succeeding! :)
My second card using the basketweave folder is another very simple card. I hate to cover up the stunning effect that you can get from a combination of a very good embossing folder, Core'dinations and a bit of sanding so I've left off too much embellishing so that you can see it in action. :)
The card base is Centura Pearl
The embossed panel is Core'dinations from the So Mod collection that I've sanded to show up the fabulous detail of the folder
The butterfly is from the Die'Sire Butterflies die set
The sentiment is from the Paint Poppets Female Accessory stamp set
And finally a wee sideways view to show the layers.
I really hope you have enjoyed the samples and I hope that you have treated yourself to a wander round the DT blogs for some totally amazing card designs.
Have a great day!
