Baby Girl card

Well here we are, it's Tuesday and already the week seems to have been packed with things to do! I wish I'd had a camera yesterday when I got into the car to go and do some errands. My face was a picture - ouch!!!!!! I'll be so very glad when DH is presentable and can go out and about himself. He's off to the consultant this morning with our SIL as I was just too sore to drive any great distance, so I hope he gets a good report on his progress so far.
I made a quickish baby card as I realised I hadn't any in my 'box'. I've used an older image from Lili of the Valley - one of their die cut squares.
It's a ready-coloured image but I've added little details of my own to go with the papers I'd chosen. Talk about the papers - they are ye olde ones from my stash and I don't have a name with them so I can't tell you who made them. I have a sneaking suspicion that they are HOTP but don't quote me!
I added colour to the baby's face, the teddy bear and her clothes and shoes, then a little bit of French Grey 50% Prisma pencil to ground the image. I cut it out with the largest of the small classic circle nesties and matted it onto a scallop one. The larger white mat is from a Marianne design die.
I cut and embossed the edge of the pink layer with an 'Alice' X Cut Dielicious border die and sanded back the embossing to show the detail.
Ribbon and button are from my stash; the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the sentiment is from Craftwork cards.

Thank you for joining me today. Don't forget it's Teddybo Tuesday and there will be some new releases today.
Have a smashing day whatever your plans!
