Birthday Boy

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I have a boys birthday card to share today using the Rococo Kids and Large Number dies.
I loved working with these as it meant being able to use the bold colours that I like.

Tonic Products used -
Harrop Layering dies for base card
Large Number die 5
Kids Rococo Toy Robot
Birthday boy sentiment
Essentials Thinking of you mats
Silver mirror card
English Mustard Crystal drops
Essentials card stock

I die cut the robot and backed him with silver mirror card but you can go to town and paper piece him in all sorts of colours and layers.
I did paper piece the numeral to echo the colours I've used on the card and I love that spiky circle from the Thinking of You Essentials die set for the sentiment mat. It reminds me of a cog or gear wheel.

Don't forget to check out the Tonic FB page, Tonic blog and Pinterest for lots more ideas on using these new dies. You will find all the links to social media, DT blogs etc on the Tonic blog page.

Thank you for calling in today.
Have a good one!

50th

Hello and welcome to the blog today.
I have another card to share from the Large Numerals POTW on Create & Craft.

This one could be for an anniversary or birthday - you choose!

Tonic Products used -
Clematis Climber edge die
Numerals
Rococo Celebrations - Champagne Flutes
Ornate Frame layering dies
Honey Gold Glitter drops

For this card I cut the decorative edge into the front of the card.
I then die cut the ornate frame into the card front and cut one out of gold card stock to give definition to the frame.
I used some Gold mirror card to complete the edge of the card front.

The numbers were cut from gold satin card stock and edged with the mirror card again for definition.
The champagne flutes were cut and embossed and little drops of honey gold glitter added for effect.
A bow was added to complete the card.

Thank you for joining me today.
I hope you are looking forward to receiving your dies soon!

Ten year old's birthday card

Hi! It's a busy Tonic day today and I'm back to share another card from the current POTW launch on Create & Craft.

I've made a birthday stepper card for this one.

Tonic products used -
Framed Screens Trellis and Parquet frame dies
Rococo Inline Skate
Large Numbers
Invite Birthday candles
Retro Happy Birthday sentiment
Essentials card stock
White gloss, Apple Green Crystal drops

I've inked through the die using distress ink to highlight the embossing on the candle die. I traced round the skate die and cut it out to give me a mat.

Thank you for joining me today.

Have a good one!

18th Birthday

Hi and welcome to the blog today.
I have an 18th birthday card to share from the Large Numbers POTW on Create & Craft.
These are so very versatile and can be used for all sorts of occasions across all age groups.

Tonic products used -
Large Number dies
Rococo New Home keys
Birthday Girl sentiment - Entangled Strip die and stamp sets
Snow Glow Sparkle dust

I've used the sparkle dust on the large white layers though it's tricky to see in the photos. It makes a beautiful glimmery background and adds a touch of pizazz to your card with very little effort.
