Bonjour!

Bonjour! Welcome to the blog today.

In contrast to yesterday's card this one is all frou frou and pretty, not a grungy bit in sight.

The Eiffel Tower puts in an appearance again with the Metro die panel holding the sentiment.

Tonic products used -
Rococo Paris Landmarks die set
Simple Type Attraction alphabet - Capitals

The finished card measures 6 x 8" and I've used decorative paper from my stash for matting.

I hope you are enjoying the 4 Day Deal on C & C. Check out inspiration from the team on the Tonic Blog where you will also find the links to the team blogs and social media sites.

Have a good day!

Bon Voyage

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I've another card I made with the new City Scene dies from Tonic currently featuring on the 4DD on Create & Craft.

I decided to go all inky for this one and I've used the Eiffel Tower die and the Traveller's Luggage together with some stencilling and distressing.

Tonic Products used -
Rococo Plus - Traveller's Luggage die
Nuvo Metallic marker pen - Supreme Metallics
Craft Perfect Mirror - Satin Black Velvet

Also used -
Rusty Hinge distress ink
Versafine Smokey Grey
Background stamp Woodware - Paris collage
The Crafter's Workshop Mini Texturized stencil
Dymo tape sentiment

I had a lot of fun putting this one together. I'm loving the inky textured look that's so popular at the moment.

I hope you are enjoying the shows. As always there is lots of inspiration on the Tonic blog and links to all the team blogs and social media favourites there too.

Thank you for calling in today. Have a good one!

New York, New York

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I have another sample card to share from the latest Tonic launch on Create & Craft, this time using the New York landmark dies.

Tonic Products used - New York Landmark dies
Aqua Flow Pens - winter collection
Aqua flow pens  - summer holiday
Neon Drops - Blue Crush/Apple Sour
Embellishment Mousse - Pure platinum (to highlight the die cuts)

The background has been created using Tonic's Aqua Flow markers to give a smooshed effect.
I diluted some of the Azure blue ink with water, picked it up with a paint brush and splattered the surface to add interest to the card.

The striped bands are washi tape and the sentiment has been computer generated.

I painted a coat of Neon drops around the landmarks that unfortunately doesn't show in normal light but in the dark there is a bright halo around them that makes it look as though they are backlit.
Sorry that effect is lost in the picture.

I hope you are enjoying the shows for this 4 Day Deal that includes the lovely Dot and Drop die sets.

For lots more inspiration check out the Tonic blog where you will find links to all the team blogs and Social media sites.

Thank you for stopping by today. Have a good one!

A Paris

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I hope you have had a super weekend and are looking forward to a new, busy, crafty week ahead.
The sun is shining here today, though it is a bit chilly, still we can be thankful we are not under feet of snow, at least not yet. 😃

Today sees the launch of the new Landmark dies from Tonic.
The shows are packed full of new and fun ideas with new Dot and Drop corners plus the innovative Neon Crystal drops that glow in the dark.
Join Jodie on Create and Craft throughout the day as she demos fab samples from the team and get lots of inspiration on the Tonic Blog where you will find links to all the Social media sites that we take part in and direct links to the team's blogs too.

My first card sample made for the show includes the Rococo Paris Landmark die set and the Traveller's Luggage die

Details on the die cuts were highlighted using the Nuvo Bronze metallic pen #504 and Cosmic Brown Embellishment Mousse.

I have also used papers from Graphic 45, Distress inks and a map stamp from Rubbadubbado that I found in my stash.

The Paris letters came from one of the G45 papers and were cut out using a Heart die from the Secret Whispers die set.

Frames and layers were cut using the Square and Circle layering dies.

Thank you for joining me today.
Enjoy the shows!
