With this ring ...

Good morning and welcome to the blog.
I've scheduled this post today as I'm off to have some cuddles with my darling Edie. She is getting so big now it's hard to believe she's over three months old.  I will try to remember to bring my camera and nab a few pics. :)

Onto today's card.
I've used my Silhouette dies and one of the lovely Ornate Elegance header dies for this card.

Tonic Silhouette - First Dance die set; Ornate Elegance header die
I made the rings using my circle dies
Papers - K & Co Shimmer paper collection
Seam binding - eggshell

I've used some cream pearlescent paper from the Papermill as an insert and backed the die cuts with parchment paper from my stash. I wanted to keep the colours quite muted so this worked very well as it's heavier than vellum and nearly opaque.

Another simple make but reasonably quick to do and of course you can use any suitable paper for the background.

Thank you for calling in today.
Have a good day!

Card in a box

Welcome to the blog this morning. What a dreadful, cold and miserable day! My thoughts go out to those who are in the deepest misery with flooding and gale force winds to contend with as well.

My darling GS Jude is undergoing an operation today. He's in the theatre as I type. If you are a praying person I would ask for your prayers for him, that all goes well and that he recovers quickly.
Thank you.

In my quest for projects for my Tuesday girls, I came across this wee card in a box idea.
I've used it for baby cards but the ideas for this format are endless. :)

Images - Stamping Up 'Wild about you' stamp set
Papers - old ones from my stash
Sentiment - Crafter's Companion Bebunni
My thanks to Jo for the tiny sequins that I used on the banner
Big & Juicy inkpad -  Soothing Sunset

Papers - K & Co
Sentiment - Papermania
Spellbinder star dies
Big & Juicy inkpads - Hydrangea, Waterfall

These wee cards are totally addictive so I'm off to make a few more!
Thank you for joining me today. Keep safe and warm. :)
