Hello!

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I have a sample card to share using one of the latest launch dies from Tonic Studios.
It's part of the Flip Flop, Easel and Frame collection and is called 'Peony Promenade.'

Tonic Products used -
Hello sentiment stamp from the Decorative Mini's everyday stamp set
Flip Flop, Frame and Easel die set Peony Promenade
Twined Lily corners
Pink Champagne Glitter drops

This time I've used the frame aspect of the die set to create a beautifully decorative aperture in the card.
The base card is 7 x 7" to give you an idea of scale.

I hope you will enjoy your dies - they should be arriving with you very soon.

Thank you for joining me today.

Today is all about you

Good morning and welcome to the blog today.

I'm sharing a card made for the Flip Flop, Easel and Frame dies show using the Roseanne's Terrace die set.

My teamie Karen mentioned a card type that was popular way back called the Harmonica so I thought I would have a go at making something similar using one of the very versatile half cut dies that comes with the set.

Tonic products used -
Roseanne's Terrace die set
Daisy edge punched strips
Fae Trelis butterfly
Today is all about you die and stamp set
Pink Champagne glitter drops

I took an A4 sheet of card stock and scored along the wide edge at 6, 9, 15 and 18 cms. This gives the double fold edges that you can use to half cut the shape where you want to place it on the fold.

I die cut the decorative panels, backed them with pink card stock and adhered them to the flaps.

I finished decorating the card with punched strips and the main decorative die as you can see in the picture.
The butterflies were cut and glittered, a few glittery drops added to the borders and card edges and the card was completed.

You could make so many variations of this card using different configurations on the card folds, adding more folds etc. so I hope you have a lot of fun playing with the dies.

Don't forget to check out Tonic's FB page, Tonic Blog and Tonic Gold for more ideas and inspiration.

Thank you for joining me today.

Balustrade in Bloom

Good afternoon and welcome to the blog today.

I'm continuing to share the cards I made for the Flip Flop, Easel and Frame die sets.

I've made an easel card using the stunning Balustrade in Bloom set.
It has the cutest little stopper die that enables you to support the card front in position for display. I just love details like that. :)

The aqua card is from the Essentials Brilliant Blues collection

Close up of the die detail.

I hope you enjoy this one today.

Flip flops, easels and frames #2

Hello and welcome to the weekend on the blog.

I am continuing to share card samples from the latest Tonic Studios release - three styles in one die sets.

There are four sets to choose from with the most beautiful patterns and the versatility is fantastic too.

Today I have another version of Cassandra's Garden this time made into a stepper card.

Tonic Products used -
Cassandra's Garden Flip Flop, Easel and Frame die set
Pinhole Square layering dies
Sew Pretty Tangled Posies border
Simple Stripes Embossing folder
Orange soda glitter drops
Romantic Cottage card stock

I love the way the daisies can be raised from the surface of the large decorative die giving dimension and movement.
The stamped greeting is from Just Rite  'What I like about you' stamped with Altenew inks to give an hombre effect.
I have used the half cut die in the stepper to give a more detailed decorative touch. When the card is folded up the panel overlays the back panel allowing the greeting to appear when the card is opened.

Don't forget to join Jodie on Create & Craft at 11am, 3 pm and 9 pm for more inspiration and demos

Thank you for joining me today.
