Dream today

Welcome to the blog today. No you are not seeing double - it's a freebie from Digistamp Boutique on Facebook and I just had to do the boy's version after the girl's version on Thursday.

The cardstock is a mix of Basic Grey and DCWV
The paper is from Craftwork Cards set 'Frosty Christmas'
The sentiment is computer generated and printed onto white cardstock cut with Spellbinder's wonky rectangle dies. I think I was trying to get the idea of an open book in there but I'm not sure it worked.
The fish tails are from Die-namics (I had to get them in somewhere!)
The stars are Spellbinder die cuts
Buttons from Basic Grey and Stamping Up

I've coloured the image with Promarkers

The inside of the card has been very simply decorated

All in all a really simple card but I didn't want to make it fussy at all.
Hope you are having a good weekend. Thanks for joining me today!

Best things in life

Hi and welcome to the blog today. I managed to pick up this wee freebie from Digistamp Boutique on Facebook and had some fun colouring her in. I ordered some more Promakers from Joanna Sheen including one called Baby Pink. Where has that colour been all my life????????? It was totally perfect for her little cheeks and now it resides in my skin tones colour section where it will be very, very happy and well used. :)
No, I'm not on anything stronger than coffee this morning. No need to panic. LOL

It's a very simple card but it was fun to put together. The background pale green was really not working very well just left plain so I doodled some faux stitching round the edges with a Spice Promarker. I hope it worked, it was certainly better than leaving it as it was. :)
See you tomorrow. Have a great day whatever your plans!
