Little Christmas gifts

Hello and welcome to the blog today.

I've been busy making my Christmas cards etc so haven't been posting for a while.

I managed to get them all made and either posted or delivered so I'm feeling very accomplished LOL.

I like to make little 'takeaway' gifts for visitors over the Christmas holidays and usually make things like decorated candles but this year I opted for gift boxes filled with chocolates.

I've already given out a few so I thought I'd better take a few pictures of the ones I have left.
I used Tonic Studios box making dies for these. They are lovely and quick to make up and hold quite a few sweets.

I popped a wee bit of shredded tissue into the box and then filled them to the brim. 😀

These are made using the Tonic Pretty Pillow Purse die set.
It's a lovely box and very easy to decorate just using the plain panels that are in the set. You can go to town and use the decorative panels but I wanted to keep them simple and quick!

I made a ton of these boxes too. I used Tonic's Basket Beautiful Medio and Base die sets with six panels. Another lovely set to make up with lots of decorative choices if you want to be more adventurous.

I've just shared two but, as I said, I made tons of them. I lost count of the Ferrero Rochers, Lindt, Quality Street, Celebrations and Roses I used. My shopping basket was slightly sugary this week. LOL

I hope you are all coping with the preparations for the Christmas celebrations this year.

I'm taking a wee bit of time off but hope to be back in the New Year with more Loaded pockets etc.

May I take this opportunity to wish you all every blessing for Christmas and for the coming year.

Thank you for your support in 2019.
Take care and remember what the season is about so you don't get swamped with all the commercialism.

Happy Christmas!

Merry and Bright

Good morning.
Welcome to the blog today.

I have a Christmas card to share that I made for hubby this year.
Up to now I have had zero opportunity to make personal Christmas cards so in a sheer panic I managed to get the family ones made and a few very simple ones for friends and neighbours.

I've used Tonic Studios Stag die and some from the Layering circles set.

Papers - First Edition 'Jingle all the Way' 6 x 6" pad
Kraft card from my stash
Gold mirror card from my stash
Tonic Studios Bright Gold Crystal drops
Gathered Twigs Distress ink

Card size is 7.5 x 7.5" finished.

I hope you are up to date with your preparations for the holiday season.
I still have a few last minute things to sort out but was waiting for the latest flare up to abate before tackling the crowds.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you for joining me today. 😃

Christmas Eve

I would just like to wish all my followers and readers of my blog the very best wishes for a happy Christmas and a hopeful, healthy and peaceful New Year.

Thank you all for your support throughout 2013, it is valued so much.
I'm off to bake a pavlova and make a fruit salad to take with me to my daughter's this evening.
There will be fun and games with a treasure hunt and a musical interlude performed by the boys so it will be entertaining to say the least.

Every blessing as we celebrate the birth of Jesus tomorrow - He is the reason for the season after all. :)
