Sugar and Spice

Hi and good afternoon. I've a card to show today at last!

The gorgeous and lovely Karen Mortenson from Charmed Cards and Crafts sent me this adorable digi kit to play with. How lucky am I? It's called Sugar and Spice and is crammed full of delightful images of little girls playing, dressing up, gathering flowers, on her trike etc. There's really something to delight everyone and so many occasions that they would suit. :)
I decided on this little lady playing with her kite and made it into an autumnal card.

Digi image - Sugar and Spice - Charmed Cards and Crafts (see link above)
Card stock - Papermill
Embossalicious 8 x 8 embossing folder - Crafter's Companion
Sizzix extended die - Autumn Gatherings for leaves
Seam binding coloured with terracotta Promarker
Sentiment - an old one from Magnolia stamps
Resin flower from the Ribbon Girls
Various distress inks for the leaves
Inka Gold to highlight some of the leaves

I've coloured the image with Promarkers
Skin - soft peach, oatmeal, blush, baby pink for cheeks
Oranges - Burnt orange, terracotta, apricot, spice, oatmeal
Greens - Olive, moss, pear
Dress - tan, march hare, satin
Kite - Spice, red

I've decorated the inside of the card simply using three colours of cardstock, the cream layer is embossed to  match the front of the card

A sideways view to show the layers.

I hope you enjoy this one. I love the autumn and all those gorgeous rich colours so this is a perfect colour combo for me. :)

Thank you for calling in, see you soon!

I've entered this card into the Passion for Promarkers #216 Challenge - embossing.
Creative Corner challenge - The leaves are falling
My Time to Craft - Autumnal Colours

This is adorable Edna, such a fun image and lovely autumn colours.
In answer to your question about Lil' Inkers, No - I got mine from the US and ended up paying customs duty so they worked out rather expensive!
