Off to the annual local show
just nearby in leafy Brookfield, a little rural show is held in May each year past the General Store watch out, here comes the fire engine! and a very old American police car (I presume) then into the craft pavilion to admire the needlework and the quilts wonderful... amazing! an unusual quilt preserves in the cooking pavilion and yummy sweets and up the hill to the Arts pavilion.. next to sideshow alley! I always enjoy the photography... these cute koalas were peeking out and of course I can't resist strelitzias but this one on the left was the best in the show... time to leave the arts now and head out through the entertainment up to the car park....and home...not a bad little show...though I fear the mood is somber this year after the events of the last month or so. May it not be long before the police make a breakthrough in the recent murder case out here. The showgrounds were the center of the police hunt for quite a while.
