An Iris down the road has been looking lovely! I love these white flowers above... and would this one above be another dogwood? some lavender? lovely humble roses at the entrance to the park.... and these white flowering trees are everywhere at the moment! I am glad I got up close to these...they are so lovely.... there are some of us with allergies to something, and so the time spent walking past some of the trees is minimal! window boxes...not such a good focus this week, sorry.... and the flower off the tulip tree....just lovely! I was lucky enough to be babysitter for my daughter on a trip to Richmond Virginia with them for a meeting and a wedding! And so this is My World post for this week! We had a day in between where we managed to get out to see Maymont Park. Unfortunately due to time constraints (managing it in between baby's schedule) we didn't get to see through the house...but we did get to walk over most of the park! and what a wonderful place it proved to be! It wwas quite a large park, and it took quite a while to wander through it! It was quite close to the city.... After finding a small cafe and eating a late lunch under a lovely shady tree (see later), we had a great time wandering the grounds, and looking at the animals. pretty flowers....on a Tulip Tree -( Liriodendron tulipifera ) an absolutely beautiful Japanese Garden..one of the best ever...hopefully some pictures of this from my daughter's camera at a later date, as my batteries ran out!
