Happy weekend! I'm popping in with a new card featuring a sweet stamp from SugarPea Designs.
I used Take A Load Off for today's card. I love this stamp set because it can be used for so many different occasions. And of course, the sentiments are fabulous too. I colored the image with copics and used some older We R Memory Keepers papers from my stash. I added the grass in the scene with my Prismacolor pencils.
Here's a photo of the complete set and you can find it over in the shop.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you have a great day!
Hugs, Anita

Warmest Wishes
Happy Monday to all of you! So, are you managing to stay warm? It's still very cold here and I don't like it at all lol! I am just not ready for all this cold weather. And if I'm already complaining about the cold, I can't even image what I'll be like in January :) OK, enough whining from me.
Today I've used one of the newer images from CC Designs called Puppy Snowman. I'm a sucker for any image with a snowman lol! I colored these cuties with copics and colored pencils. I added some Glossy Accents to their noses and Glamour Dust to their hats and the snow. The sentiment is from the new Christmas Sentiments II set by AmyR Stamps and the snowflake is from the CC Designs Cutter It's Snowing Die. If you would like to see how to mask the image in order to ink in a darker background/sky, then stop by the CC Designs Blog - I've shared a little tutorial over there.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Stay warm!
Hugs, Anita

I Dig Potted Plants
Happy Monday to all of you! Today I'm sharing a project I made for a "Make It Monday" post over on the All That Scraps Blog.
This is a lunch bag card. Yes, that's right ... it's made using one of the standard brown paper lunch bags. The kind you get at the grocery store that come 50 or 100 in a package for just a couple of dollars. These lunch bag cards have been around awhile but if you're fairly new to paper crafting then you may not have seen them before.
Here are the supplies you will need: paper cutter; brown paper lunch bag (mine measures 5 1/4" x 10 3/4"); adhesive; cardstock and 3 coordinating designer papers; small circle punch or Nestablities (optional); twine or ribbon (optional); your choice of stamps and diecuts for embellishing
Fold the bottom of the lunch bag at 3 1/2" and cut 2" from the top (opening) of the bag. The bag now measures about 5 1/8" x 5 1/8".
Cut the three pieces of cardstock to measure 5 1/8" x 5 1/8", 5 1/8" x 3 1/2", and 4 3/4" x 4 3/4". Cut the designer paper to measure 5" x 5", 5" x 3 3/8", and 4 5/8" x 4 5/8". Keep in mind that the bag sizes may vary so you may need to adjust the sizes of your cardstock and dp.
Adhere the designer paper to the cardstock. Adhere the paper to the front of the "pocket" and to the front of the lunch bag. You can use a circle punch or nestabilities to cut a notch in the top of the bag.
Apply adhesive to the edges of the inside of the pocket and then adhere the pocket to the lunch bag.
Decorate the 4 5/8" x 4 5/8" panel as you wish. I stamped a sentiment from the CC Designs Webbie's Words Spring With A Side Of Chocolate rubber stamps and added a butterfly that I cut using the CC Designs Cutters Butterfly Border Die. I left space below the sentiment to add a special message to the person I'm giving this card to. This panel slips into the back pocket of the lunch bag. This pocket is fairy big so you would have plenty of room to include a little gift if you wanted to.
I decorated the front of the card using this sweet little CC Designs Swiss Pixie Potted Lucy rubber stamp. She's colored with copics and colored pencils and popped up and matted using my nestabilities. I used the CC Designs Four Seasons Fence Die and stamped it with my CC Designs Woodgrain rubber stamp. I also added some greenery using my CC Designs Cutters Olive Branch Die and another butterfly from the butterfly border die.
I inserted some flower seed packets in the front pocket and now this card is ready to be given to a special person.
I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial. Thank you for stopping by!
Hugs, Anita

Latte Monkey Gift Card Holder
Hello sweet friends. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Are you ready for Christmas? I only have a few small items to pick up and then I'm done ... yeah! I plan on finishing up tomorrow so I won't have to fight the mad crowd this weekend!
Well, some of my nieces and nephews are way past the age of me being able to pick out a gift that they would actually like lol! So I find myself needing several gift card holders for the holidays and today I've whipped up a quick and easy one to share with you.
This cute image is CC Designs Latte Monkey and you can find him over in the All That Scraps shop. I needed a gift card holder for a local coffee shop so I thought this adorable monkey would be the perfect image. He's colored with copics and colored pencils. I've written a tutorial for this holder and you can find it on the All That Scraps Blog.
Thank you so much for stopping by! I hope you have a fabulous day.
Hugs, Anita

A Simple Gift Bag
Happy Thursday to all of you. The weekend will be here before you know it ... yeah!
Today I have a little gift bag and tag to share with you. Let's start with my tag. I used Sugar Nellie's Simply Sassy Oh La La. Isn't she adorable in her little beret? I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used a black glaze pen on the buttons on her boots. I adhered her to a tag that I cut out with one of my old Sizzie dies.
If you would like to see how I made the little gift bag, then stop by the Simply Sassy Blog . You may have seen these bags around blogland, but if you haven't, I've included all the instructions over there. Wouldn't these be great for little graduation gifts or teacher appreciation gifts?
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Stamp: Sugar Nellie Simply Sassy - Oh La La (from Funky Kits)
Paper: My Mind's Eye; Bazzill
Other: Copics, Prismacolor pencils, gamsol, black glaze pen, Sizzix die, Spellbinders circle dies, MFT die, twine

Simply Fabulous Darling
Hello friends. I hope you've had a wonderful week. Only one more day till the weekend ... yeah! I have a couple of things to share with you today. I have a new card to share and I also have a tutorial ... yes, a real tutorial! Well, I never ever thought I'd be doing a tutorial.
I used Sugar Nellie's Simply Sassy Fabulous Darling on my card. Isn't she gorgeous? I colored her with copics and colored pencils. I used Glamour Dust on her hairbow, earrings, and shoes. Don't you just love those shoes? What I wouldn't have given to have had a pair of those shoes back in the day (no, I'm not saying how many years ago that would have been)! My butterflies are courtesy of Martha Stewart's punch and I added a little pearl to each one. I also used Martha's lace heart border punch. I stitched my papers and distressed them with Antique Linen ink. The lace is from my stash. The lovely yo-yo flower was made by me. OK, I know, pick yourself up off the floor!
So, what and where is my tutorial, you ask? Well my tutorial gives you instructions and pictures so you can make your own yo-yo flowers. That's the name of this type of flower ... or at least it's the name I've always heard used for these flowers. You can find my tutorial here. And you can find all the Sugar Nellie stamps at Funky Kits.
And here are some other yo-yo flowers I made. As you can see, you can make them any color and size that you like. And they're super easy to make so be sure to check out my tutorial.
