Mice Birthday

Hello crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a sweet birthday card I made using one of my favorite stamp set by Pink and Main.

This adorable mouse is from the Mice Birthday stamp set.  I cut a panel of white card stock and stenciled clouds using Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Ink and a cloud stencil from My Favorite Things.  I adhered a strip of black/white paper along each edge of the cloud panel and adhered it to my card.  I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set on the card.  I stamped the mice with balloons on Neenah card stock, colored it with copics, and fussy cut it.  I added some highlights to the balloons with a white gel pen and adhered it to my card with foam tape.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs, Anita

I'm entering my card in the Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Bright and Cheerful.

It's Your Special Day

Happy Monday crafty friends!  Today I'm sharing a birthday shaker card using a new stamp set by Pink & Main.

This sweet image is from the Mice Birthday stamp set.  I cut a 4.25" x 5.5" panel of white card stock, embossed it with a polka dot embossing folder, and adhered it to my card.  Next, I die cut a circle and frame and sponged them with Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry, and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks.  I spattered them with water and once they were dry I stamped a sentiment on the circle.  I adhered a circle of acrylic behind my frame and then adhered foam tape to the back of the frame.  I added sequins to the circle and then adhered the frame to create a shaker card.  I colored the image with copics and adhered it to my card with foam tape.

Copics:
Mouse - C3, C1, C0, C00; E01, E00, E000; R20
Purple - V15, V12, V01
Pink - RV55, RV52, RV10

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team has decided to do a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

I used the adorable Love Cynthia stamp set called Happy Holidays.  I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock, colored her with copics, and then fussy cut the image.  I cut a strip of Bristol card and stamped snowflakes using the Flurries stamp set from Pink & Main.  I heat embossed the snowflakes with WOW gold embossing powder.  Next, I sponged Peacock Feather Distress Oxide ink over the Bristol and flicked on some water spots.  I used foam tape to place the little snowgirl onto a vellum circle and then adhered her to my cardbase.  I added a few gold sequins for some extra sparkle.   I used a black glaze pen on the girl's eyes, and on the snowman's eyes and buttons.

Copics Used:
Skin - E13, E11, E21, E00, E000, R20

Simply Sweet Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the first ever Simply Sweet Christmas Inspiration Hop

Lesley, from Always Playing With Paper, invited her bloggy pals from The Challenge Design Team to join her in an inspiration hop focusing on LAST MINUTE SIMPLE YET SWEET Christmas cards or tags.  If you need some last-minute inspiration, you've come to the right place!

Please hop along and be sure to visit each of the blogs.  There's lots of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

I began my card by cutting an A2 (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") panel of Bristol Smooth paper.  I used washi tape to tape off an area @ 1 5/8" x 5 1/2".  I used the beautiful snowflakes from Pink & Main's Flurries stamp set.  I ran my anti-static tool over the area, then used VersaMark Ink to stamp the snowflakes.  I used WOW Bright White Superfine Embossing Powder to heat emboss the snowflakes.  Next, I sponged Peacock Feathers and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Inks over the snowflakes.  I spattered some water drops over the inks and then dried them using a paper towel.  I also used the towel to wipe off any ink from the snowflakes.  I stamped the sentiment using the Wilted Violet Distress Oxide Ink and finished my card by added a few clear sequins.  This was a very quick and easy card.  If you have a MISTI you can place all of the snowflake stamps on the tool and stamp them all at one time, and the distress oxide inks blend so easily on the Bristol paper.

Sending You Flurries of Warm Wishes

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing another card I made as a guest designer for Pink & Main.

These beautiful snowflakes and the sentiment are from the Flurries set.  I cut a panel of Bristol paper and stamped the snowflakes with Versamark ink.  I used white embossing powder and heat embossed the snowflakes.  Next I sponged distress oxide inks in Peacock Feathers and Cracked Pistachio, flicked on water, and then dried the panel with a paper towel.  I stamped the sentiment on a strip of vellum and heat embossed it also.  I wrapped the ends of the vellum around the Bristol panel before adhering it to my cardbase.  Lastly, I added a few sequins to give the card a little bit of sparkle.  This set includes so many pretty snowflakes so be sure to stop by the shop and check it out!

Thank you for stopping by!  I hope you have a fabulous week!

Hugs, Anita
