Hello Friends

Hello sweet friends!  Life has been crazy and my mojo took a very long vacation so it's been quite a while since I've shared a card on my blog.  Today I'm sharing a card I made using a cute stamp set by Honey Bee Stamps.

I am in a card group with a few sweet Instagram friends and this is the card I made for our latest swap.  I inked the base of my card with Tumbled Glass and Mowed Lawn Distress Oxide Inks.   I stamped the flowers and bee from the Sweet Honey Bee stamp set, colored them with copics, and diecut them with the coordinating dies.  I used a black gel pen on the bee's eyes and a white gel pen on the cheeks.  I adhered the images with foam tape and added a sentiment from a Gina K stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sending Hugs

Good evening friends!  I'm sharing a card I made using Honey Bee Stamps.

This adorable group of critter friends is from the Forest Friends stamp set.  This stamp set was gifted to me by my sweet friend Von Marie (vonmariedesign on IG).   I stamped the image on Neenah cardstock and then placed a mask over it.  I used a stencil to apply Distress Oxide Inks on the card front.  I removed the mask, colored the images with copics, and used a black glaze pen on the critter's eyes.  The sentiment is from the Warm Wishes stamp set. I diecut the panel with a stitched rectangle die and adhered it to a pink cardbase using foam tape.  I'm entering my card in the Honey Bee Stamps Buzzworthy Challenge #28 on facebook - the challenge is Mother's Day.

Copics used:
Bear - E33, E31, E30, E50; E01, E000; 100
Hedgehog - E42, E41, E40; R30, R00; E29, E25, E21
Bunny - W2, W1, W0; R30, R00
Bird - B95, B93, B91; Y18
Basket - E59, E57, E55

Sending Hugs

Good Morning!  Today I'm sharing a card I made using Honey Bee Stamps.

I used the Pinky (Paper Piecing) Honey Cuts die to make this adorable piggy!  I diecut the pig from light pink and black cardstock.  I applied Worn Lipstick Distress Oxide Ink around the edges of the pig and I used a white gel pen to add some highlights.  The little bees are from the Bee Hive stamp set.  I colored the bees with copics, fussy cut them, then applied Glamour Dust to their wings to add some sparkle and shine.  I sponged Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks onto a piece of Bristol and spattered some water.  The sentiment is from the Warm Wishes stamp set. I adhered the images with foam tape and added a few star sequins.  I'm entering my card in the Honey Bee Stamps Buzzworthy Challenge #27 on facebook - the challenge is Pretty In Pink.

Copics Used:
Bees - E18, E15, E11, 100
Wings - B000

Thanks for stopping by.

Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I used the Snow Buddies stamp set by Honey Bee Stamps.  There are several adorable snowmen in this set along with lots of other images, including the bunnies you see here.   I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and then fussy cut them.  I used a black glaze pen on the bunny eyes and added Nuvo Crystal Glaze to the snowman's nose.  For the base of my card, I sponged Worn Lipstick and Peacock Feathers Distress Oxide Inks onto Bristol card and flicked water with a paintbrush.  The sentiment I used is from the Holiday Greetings stamp set by Pretty Pink Posh  I added some clear sequins to give my card some sparkle.

Copics Used:
Snowman - BV20, BG70, R20
Nose - YR14, YR12, YR00
