Happy Halloween at The Greeting Farm

Happy Tuesday sweet friends!  We are starting a new Garden Variety Tuesday Challenge over on the Greeting Farm Blog and the theme is Happy Halloween.  Now, it's OK if you don't make Halloween cards.  While I love making cards for Halloween I know that others don't.  So, if you don't do the "Halloween" card thingy, then just use some typical Halloween colors for your card ... such as orange, black, purple, and/or green.

I used this adorable little digi called Hallobean ... isn't she a cute little witch?  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and then used some Glamour Dust on her hat and buttons for a little bit of sparkle.  Be sure to stop by the Greeting Farm Blog to see what the rest of the DT is sharing today.  This challenge will be open for two weeks so you've got plenty of time to enter.  Of course, there's a prize for a random winner too :)

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

It's Tuesday so that means we have some new makes to share with you over on the By LORi Designs Blog.  We are featuring Lori's adorable Halloween images which is fine with me because I LOVE Halloween!  It's one of my favorite little holidays to celebrate.  Partly because it's my daughter's birthday and also because I just adore the cute, not-very-scary ghosts, witches and goblins.

I'm using Puddle Jumper Witchy Sue and Baby Boo on my card today.  I colored them with copics and colored pencils, and then applied Glamour Dust to the candy and the bow on her hat.  I finished my card with some ribbon and buttons.  Please be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the talented DT is sharing over there.  I know you'll find lots of inspiration for some "spooky" cards of your own :)

Boo!

Happy Tuesday to all of you!  We have a new inspiration post over on the By LORi Designs Blog.  Lori has some adorable new Halloween images and the team has made some not-so-scary cards to share with you today :)

I used Little Trick or Treat Gang on my card today ... aren't they the cutest?  I colored the gang with copics and colored pencils and added some white polka dots with acrylic paint.  I also used some Glamour Dust and Glossy Accents on my card.  The border punch is an old Martha Stewart punch I've had forever, and the papers are by Doodlebug Design.  I always love Doodlebug's Halloween line each year - such fun, bright colors!  Be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of this amazing team is sharing today.  You can find all of Lori's fabulous images in the shop here.

A Sassy Birthday Card

Hello friends.  Well, the weekend is almost over and I finally found some time today to finish a birthday card.

This sweet little digi is Have You Heard and you can find her over in the Sassy Cheryl's Stamps shop.  I've had this cutie colored for over a week and just never seemed to find the time to make her into a card.  Every one that knows me knows that I love Cheryl's images so I'm very happy I was able to sit down and play with this adorable "Sally" today :)  I colored her with copics and colored pencils and used some Glossy Accents on the little ladybugs that are visiting her.  The challenge this week over on the Sassy Cheryl's Challenge Blog is a sketch so that's what I followed for my card layout.  And did you know that Cheryl now offers her adorable images in rubber too?  Yes!  I happen to love both rubber and digis but for those of you that only want rubber ... well, you need to check out her shop here

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Hugs, Anita

From The Heart

( ** Please scroll down to see my ATS and Greeting Farm posts **)

Wow, my third time posting today ... I promise this is the last for today :)

It's time for a new inspiration post over on the By LORi Designs Blog.  Today the team is sharing love/Valentine's Day projects.  Lori recently released lots of new love/Valentine images and I've been having so much fun coloring these sweet images!

This sweet girl is Lollipop Gracie Valentine.  I colored her with copics and colored pencils.  My paper is a 6x6 pad by American Crafts that I found at Target of all places.  A bow, button, and pearls finish my card.  Not much bulk on this one so I should be able to mail it with no extra postage ... yay!  OK, be sure to stop by the By LORi Designs Blog to see what the rest of the amazing DT is sharing today.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

Vintage Adorable - Annabel

Happy Friday friends!  Today I'm sharing a card using the new Vintage Adorable Annabel.

I just have to say that I am loving these new digis and they're sooo easy to color!  They're all in stock over at Funky Kits.  I colored this sweetie with copics and colored pencils and cut her out with my nesting circle dies.  I added a small flourish, diecut flowers, pearls, and a bow.  I don't seem to use green very often but I thought it would be perfect for this little red-head!

Thank you so much for stopping by.  I hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Hugs, Anita

Sugar Nellie's " Vintage Adorables" Blog Hop

Good morning friends.  I hope you're enjoying our Vintage Adorables Blog Hop today!

If you've arrived here from the lovely and talented Pat's blog then you are in the right place.  If not, then you may want to hop over to the Sugar Nellie Blog to start at the beginning.  So, have you already fallen in love with our gorgeous new digis?  I would like to share with you ...

Don't you just love her sweet little face and the pretty flowers in her hair?  I think these new images are so precious.  I have to admit I was nervous about coloring her, but these digis are actually quite easy to color.  The shading is already included in the digi so they really don't take very long to color at all.

OK, so now you need to hop over to lovely Jane's blog next.  I have seen her beautiful card and I know you're going to love it as well!  Be sure to leave a comment at each stop along the way for a chance to win some candy.  All these Vintage Adorables are available now in the Funky Kits shop.

Thank you so much for joining our hop today!

Hugs, Anita

Hello Friend

I made this card using a Hero Arts stamp.  It was a very simple and easy card to make.  I embossed the front of the card.  I colored the image with my Prismacolor pencils and gamsol and matted it on a layer of light green cardstock.  I added the ribbon and the button and this card was finished.  It actually turned out much prettier than I thought it might.  Wouldn't this be a nice card to send to a friend to let them know they're in your thoughts?  I definitely think this would bring a smile to a friend's face.  Thanks for stopping by!
