Being Your Friend Is A Treat

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a Halloween card featuring an adorable stamp set from Neat & Tangled.

These cute little images are from the You're A Treat stamp set.  I bought this stamp last year and didn't get a chance to use it so I decided I had to get it inky this year!  I colored the images with copics and used my ScanNCut to diecut the images.  I used a black glaze pen on the witch's and kitty's eyes and I used a white gel pen to add some polka dots to her dress.  I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and heat embossed it with WOW embossing powder.  I used a cloud stencil and Wilted Violet and Blueprint Sketch Distress Oxide Inks to make the cloudy sky.  I used a die from Lawn Fawn to create the hills and the rest of the diecuts (haunted house, tree, and bats) are from Your Next Stamp dies.  I glued the bats directly onto the cardbase but all the other images are adhered with foam tape for lots of dimension.

Thanks for stopping by!

Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team does a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2019!

I used the Merry Kisses stamp set by Neat & Tangled.  I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and then diecut them using the coordinating dies.  I used a black glaze pen on the fox's noses and the bird's eye and then added some highlights using a white gel pen.  I sponged Mowed Lawn Distress Ink onto a diecut oval and then matted that on red cardstock.  The Christmas plaid dp is from Authentique.  I adhered all the images and the sentiment with foam tape for dimension.

Copics Used:
Foxes - E08, E15, E13, E11, YR23; C3, C1; E00
Mistletoe - E33; YG17, YG03, YG01; R37, R17
Scarf - YG17, YG03, YG01; C3, C1

Keeping Christmas - Baked With Love

Welcome to the Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop!  If you are looking for some inspiration for Christmas cards, you have come to the right place.  Our team has decided to do a monthly Keeping Christmas Inspiration Hop! We will be sharing Christmas creations on the 25th of each month.

The whole idea is to have some Christmas cards and projects in our stash all ready to go for December 2018!

I used the adorable Holiday Baking stamp set by Neat & Tangled to create my card.  I stamped the images on Neenah cardstock, colored them with copics, and then diecut them with the coordinating dies.  I used the Stitched Scallop Basic Edges Die to cut the design paper and red cardstock that I adhered to the top of the card.  I added a twine bow and adhered the images with foam tape.  The stamped images are small so this really takes very little time to color, and the design is simple so I think this card could easily be mass produced for the holidays.

Please hop along and be sure to visit each of the blogs.  There's lots of inspiration and ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

I Love You

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a card featuring an adorable stamp set from Neat & Tangled.

I bought this stamp set intending to make some Valentine cards but time got away from me.  So I figured instead of an actual Valentine, I would create a card that can be sent any time you want to let someone special know you're thinking of them.  This cute image is from the Beavers Eh stamp set.  If you haven't seen this set, be sure to check it out ... lots of cute beavers and sweet sentiments too.  I colored this girl beaver and her little mouse with copics and then added some Nuvo Crystal Glaze to her nose and teeth for some shine.  I used a white gel pen to make some polka-dots on her bow and skirt, and then added a few sequins for some sparkle.  I also sponged some distress ink on the cardbase before adhering the beaver with foam tape.  I used a black glaze pen on the mouse's eyes.

Thanks so much for stopping by.

Hugs, Anita

It's Christmas Time Again

Good morning!  I hope you're having a fabulous week so far.  Today I'm sharing a Christmas card I made using some new products from Neat & Tangled.

These adorable images are from the Get Yeti stamp set.  Do you see how cute that little dog with the antlers is ... love him!  There are lots of other sweet images included in this set so be sure to stop by their shop and check them out!  I colored the dog and bird with copics and then diecut them using the Get Yeti - Nice and Neat Dies.  My designer paper is from one of my favorite 6x6 pads from years ago (yes, I've been hoarding it).  I used a stitched rectangle die to cut the designer paper and I used dies from My Favorite Things to create the red frame and the sentiment banner.  I used a black glaze pen on the dog and bird eyes and then adhered the critters and sentiment with foam tape.

Copics used:
Dog - C7, C5, C3, C1, R20, R00
Antlers - E25, E23, E21
Scarf - YG17, YG03, YG01
Bird - C3, R46, R24, R22, E31, E30, E50, Y38

I followed the sketch from the current Little Tangles Challenge.

Sugar & Spice

Good morning.  Today I'm sharing a card I made using some sweet Neat & Tangled and Doodlebug Design products.

These sweet little kids are from the Say Yes To Donuts stamp set.  I colored them with copics and then used the coordinating Nice & Neat Dies to diecut them.  I cut the sentiment panel from the 6x6 Doodlebug Design Cream & Sugar paper pad and then just tucked the little kids behind the panel.  This was a quick and easy card!  I added a few Doodlebug Design matte dots to finish the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hey Chickie

Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a sweet little Easter card featuring an adorable stamp from Neat & Tangled.

This cute image is Cottontail Cuties and I fell in love with this stamp set as soon as I saw it!  I colored the image with copics and used the coordinating dies to cut out the image.  I used distress ink to apply some color behind the little girl and added a strip of rainbow paper along the bottom of the card.  I used a black glaze pen on the girl's eye and the chick's eye and then I applied a Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the eggs.  I added a few sequins for some sparkle.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
