HI all! Here's a card I made for the MFT Stamps Summer School 2018 Day 1 challenge: White Space. Well, my 'white space' is kraft colored :) I used an image from the BB You Gnome Me stamp set with a sentiment from the retired Sweet Forest Friends set. I used a (retired) Pierced Circle STAX die-namic to emboss the card base then layered the image over it creating a highlight. A trio of clear sequins add a little something extra, as do the rounded corners.

Angel

Beary Big Congratulations
Hi all! MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! I truly hope everyone has a wonderful holiday surrounded by love. :) I found some crafty time the other day and made this for the current MFTWSC364 sketch. I colored up some of the images from the MFT Town Bear set using my Copics. I also used the Our Town die-namics to cut out some chevron patterned paper for the strip behind the main images and sentiment.

Happy Pawlidays
Hi all! Here's a card I made using new goodies from MFT (couldn't resist those pups!) for the MFTWSC356. I sponged the background with peach bellini and tickled pink inks, then used Copic markers to add some dots, then spritzed with water for even more dimension. I masked the tree while doing all that sponging and spritzing :) The Pup and sentiment are up on foam adhesive.

The Card Concept Challenge - Hello
Hi all! It's time for another challenge on The Card Concept Blog! You are sure to be inspired! I loved the colors and all of the flowers from the inspiration picture, so I broke out my Flashy Florals set from MFT. I added sequins to all of the flower centers. I cut out 'hello' die-namic three times - once with Sno Cone card stock, the other two with white card stock then staggered them slightly when adhering them so you can see a tiny bit of the Sno Cone card stock. The flower layer and card base are Primitive White card stock.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Angel

You slay me
Hi all! Here with a fun card with the cutest dragon from the MFT BB Magical Dragons stamp set. I used the MFTWSC300 sketch. I colored him with Copics. I created a cool watercolor panel, then cut it and the grout gray layer with the larger Blueprints 29 die.

SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge time!
Hi all! It's Wednesday, which it's time for another SugarPea Designs Mix It Up Challenge! :) I used the sketch and the inspiration picture (again) to create this Clean And Simple (CAS) card. I used the Smitten Kitten set because, duh, it was perfect for the inspiration pic ;-) Who says you have to always color lined images?? I used these cuties to create a background, then broke it up with a die cut piece of pink lemonade card stock. And I couldn't resist that sweet sentiment!
Thanks so much for stopping by! Head over to the SPD Blog to see what the rest of the DT created for this challenge!

MFT Sketch Challenge Guest Designer - MFTWSC287
Hi all! Here is my last card as MFT's Sketch Challenge Guest Designer. I sure do love MFT and am sad this month as their guest designer is over but also so VERY grateful that I had this opportunity! :) Thank you, ladies, MWAH!!! You know I love y'all! Here's my card for MFTWSC287 using the new PI Fun in the Sun stamp set and die-namics. I colored her with Copics. I stamped the sentiment onto one of the Blueprints 29 elements then added a heart, also from Blueprints 29. The Fresh Squeezed Chevron designer paper was cut out using the Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX. The card base is Lemon Drop.

MFT Sketch Challenge Guest Designer - MFTWSC286
Hi all! Welcome to another weekly MFT Sketch Challenge! For this week's challenge I used lots of new goodies! The background was created using the Funky Flower set that I stamped on watercolor paper and colored with my Zig pens then die cut it with an element from Blueprints 29. I then used the 'grateful' die-namic from the Grateful for You set to cut out part of the background (and also from smooth white card stock for more depth), then layered it over the black licorice card stock that was cut out using the Pierced Fishtail Flag STAX. There's also a layer of glossy accents over the 'grateful' die cut. I stamped the leaves again on the Pierced Circle STAX Sno-cone layer in Sno Cone ink, then stamped 'for you' which is also from the Grateful for You stamp set. The card base is smooth white card stock - my favorite white card stock!

MFT Card Challenges - June Sketch Guest Designer!
Hi all! I'm so very Excited to be the guest designer for the Sketch Challenge over on the MFT Card Challenges Blog this month! Today's sketch is a classic in my book! I decided to emboss a sentiment from the Birthday Sentiments set onto some black licorice card stock that was cut out using the Inside & Out diagonal stitched rectangle STAX. The watercolored paper was cut out using an element from the Blueprints 20 (currently out of stock AND one of my Favorite Blueprints!) then the Oval STAX 1 was used to cut out the opening for the sentiment. I added a few clear sequins then layered everything over the Razzle Berry card base.

Bold Thanks
Hi all! Yes, just what the doctor ordered - crafty time! :D Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! I took a much needed day of rest and got this card made for a two challenges: the FMS226 sketch and current CTD382 color challenge. The chevron background was inspired by Barbara Anders. I used the MFT Chevron stencil and some Ranger Picked Raspberries distress ink and an aqua brush to color in the stencil. The gold flower was cut out using the LJD Scribbles die-namics, leaving some pieces intact. I cut the layered leaves out of green-eyed monster card stock. The sentiment is from a retired MFT set and was embossed with white EP.

Masculine birthday
Hi all! Here's a card I made using the MFTWSC262 sketch. I watercolored the background with Blu Raspberry, Cornflower and Lavender Fields inks. I staggered the thin strip of lines from the Desert Bouquet set then embossed them with gold EP. I cut out some stars out of silver foil paper using my Stacking Stars dies . The 'happy' die-namic was cut out of black licorice card stock 3 times then layered somewhat offset. 'Birthday' is from a retired MFT set. The card base is steel blue card stock.

Par-tea On
Hi all! I went for shades of teal with my latest TAWS card using the new Swee-Tea stamp set. The cup was paper pieced then fussy cut. I used a white gel pen to color in parts of the cup and a W3 Copic for shading. The sketch is from the SSSC299.

Happy Birthday
Hi all! It's almost Friday! Wahoo! Here's a card I made using some newly released TAWS sets - Swee-Tea and Happy Everything. Ironically, today would've been my grandmother's 93rd birthday. She was something, I tell ya, and I sure do miss her. Anyway, I colored up the cake and stand with Copics and followed the SSSC297 sketch. A few YNS gumdrops add extra detail.

Merry, merry, merry, merry...
Hi all! Here's a card I made using some new Reverse Confetti goodies! I was inspired by the CTS145 sketch (but didn't make the cutoff) and also the current CTD365. So I made the background with wild cherry dye ink in the hopes that it didn't make anyone think of the show Dexter. Lol! I cut out 'merry' using the Winter Words confetti cuts, being careful to keep the middle pieces for the 'e' and 'y' then popped it up over smooth white card stock. 'Christmas' is from the Winter Words coordinates set. A few bright pink gumdrops and a gold foil layer make this card even more festive. :D

Bring on the snow
Hi all! Ok, so I'm not really ready for snow, but this little guy on my card is! :D This is one of the many adorable images from the TAWS set Mistletoe Kisses. The sentiment is from Waddle Pals. I colored the snowman with Copics and layered him over a watercolored background. The sentiment was stamped with Sweet Tooth ink and embossed with clear ep. I added matching teal-ish and clear sequins for extra detail. I love this teal and Grapesicle color combo for Christmas cards! The sketch is from the SSSC290.
