HI all! Happy Hump Day! It's time for a new challenge over on The Card Concept Challenge Blog! I colored the tree from the Santa's Elves set and made it the focus with patterned paper framed with primitive white card stock. I added some red glittered YNS Gumdrops as ornaments.

Have a Jawsome Day!
Hi all! I made another card for the MFT Summer School Classes - this one is for the Repetition challenge. I stamped the shark from the new Beach Buds stamp set then colored them with my Zig pens and some water to create my ocean scene. I love the loose watercolored look. The sentiment is embossed. I added a few clear gumdrops for fun. :D

Rainbow Birthday
HI all! Here's my take on the MFTWSC389. I used the new Moroccan Mosaic Stencil and my Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens to create a watercolored look for my background. The 'happy' and 'birthday' dies are retired MFT. The card base is the fab Smooth White MFT card stock. I added a few glittered YNS gumdrops around the word dies.

I created the background and also used one of the sentiments from the Whole Shebang stamp set. I added a little more interest with the Jumping Jacks Fri-dies and some glittered gumdrops.

A Monster Birthday
HI all! Here's my card for the latest MFTWSC377 sketch using the Monster Sized stamp set. These guys are super fun to color! I used my Copics and a pointillism technique for interest and texture. I sponged on some coordinating distress inks behind the general are of where I planned to adhere each monster, then spritzed with water. The word dies are from the Blueprints 26. I cut out 'birthday' from the black and white basics paper pad. I added the clear YNS gumdrops because of a little oops on the paper - I'm sure you've heard before, mistakes are just opportunities to embellish! :D

CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge Time!
Hi all! OMG it's December! GAH! I sure hope y'all are more prepared for the holidays than I currently am, Geez Louise... Lol, it'll be fine. Everything is fine! HA! Well, it's time for a new CAS-ual Fridays Inspiration Challenge. Bring on the winter blues! I stamped lots of the images from Bring on the Snowflakes onto my Cornflower blue card base. A few are even embossed. I stamped that big, beautiful sentiment from the Merry set in Nightshift Blue and die-cut it with a circle die. The smaller snowflakes around the sentiment are from the Merry set, as well. A few glittery gumdrops add a finishing touch. This also fits the FMS315 sketch.

Beach, please
And by that title, I mean, 'take me TO the beach, please!', lol! Hi all - Here's a card I made for the March SFYTT by Reverse Confetti using some RC goodies. :) I used the Pineapples Aplenty stamp set and matching confetti cuts. The pineapple is layered over some RC quick card panels (it's out of stock) and was cut out using the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts - one of my faves from RC! The other DP is from that pretty On Trend 2 paper pack - yummy! Some glittered YNS gumdrops add a little extra sparkle.

Make A Wish
Hi all! Here's a card I made for the SugarPea Designs SugarSketch 29. I love a good sketch and just couldn't pass this one up! I adore this super cute dragon from their Blow Me Away stamp set. I colored her with Copics and also used the colorless blender to add extra spots ;) I fussy cut the image, then popped it up on foam adhesive, then did the same for the piece of cake she's holding. The sentiment is also from the set. I stamped the words separately so it would fit on the banner. A button with twine and several YNS gumdrops finish it up.

I think you're wild
Hi all! Here's a card I made using some Reverse Confetti stamps and dies. I used their current Sketch for the layout. The image and sentiment are from the super cute set Later Alligator and then I used the matching dies to cut my gator out. I colored him with Copics, adding spots with a darker green and also the colorless blender for more dimension. The orange fizz layer was cut out with the Woodgrain Confetti Cuts, but I needed it smaller, so I just trimmed down the edges. I added a layered star garland and some gumdrops for extra details.

Christmas in August
Hi all! I say it's never too early to start on your Christmas cards! This little guy from the Penguins on Parade set has endless character possibilities when paired up with the Everyday's a Holiday set! I decided to dress him for Christmas. He's colored with Copics, then fussy cut. The sentiment was created using the Express Yourself set from last month. A few gumdrops and done! The sketch is the SSSC281.

YNS Fun Friday - Thank you!
Hi all! YAY for Friday! That also means it's time for a new sketch and inspiration challenge over on the YNS Blog! I used the sketch for my card. I colored this cutie from the Soaring By... set and used the matching die to pop him up over the plaid DP. I used my stitched rectangle dies (currently out of stock) for all of the DP layers and the smooth white layer. The little tab sticking out was cut out using the file tab die. I decided to jazz it up a bit and added 3 green apple glittered gumdrops.

Celebrate
Hi all! Here's a card I made CTD350 and also as an entry for the Paper Smooches guest designer search. I couldn't pass up this new set by PS called Best Buds. I colored everything with Copics using the colors from the Color Throwdown challenge. I then fussy cut the image, added glossy accents to the jar and also added an extra flower and set of leaves. The sentiment was embossed with white EP on the black card stock layer. I added a few clear gumdrops to highlight the sentiment. The scalloped layer is insulation pink and the card base is pink lemonade.

Sending rainbows and sunshine
Hi all! Here's a card I made using one image and one sentiment from the Oh Splat TAWS set. I inked the splat using distress markers directly on the image. I lightly spritzed it with water, being careful to not have the colors blend too much, then placed a piece of smooth white card stock over it. Turned out just as I had hoped! I then stamped the sentiment in black licorice ink and used my cross-stitched circle STAX to cut it out and popped it up on foam adhesive. I added a few YNS silver tinsel gumdrops for a little extra detail. Easy Peasy!

YNS New Release Blog Hop!
Hi all! Welcome to the YNS New Release Blog Hop! We have so many wonderful new sets to show you! I've made two card using the new Word Critters - Exotic Animals set. It is just TOO cute for words! I love the animals including in it and all of the sweet sentiments! For my first card, I used the toucan and one of the hummingbirds. I fussy cut them and popped them up on foam adhesive. I drew lines in between the letters of 'baby' so that it looked more like a real banner there were holding up. I used my stitched rectangle dies for the layering and some sparkly pink gumdrops for extra detail. The sketch is from the CTS130.
For my second card, I used the two chameleons in the set. Aren't they adorable?! I colored them with Copics, then fussy cut them and popped them up. Before stamped the "hello", I curved the stamp on my acrylic block. Again, I drew lines in between the letters. Two of the gumdrops I added are from a new collection pack called Love Earth gumdrops. What an awesome color combo! (it's the blue and yellow, plus a gray) And of course, I used my stitched rectangle dies again. :D

Snail Mail
Hi all! Here's a card I made using two TAWS sets - Lite Brite and the larger snail and 'snail mail' sentiment from Twinkle Toes. I colored this little guy with Copics and added glossy accents to his shell. For the 'Hello' background, I used a large acrylic block and a pencil to draw lines on a piece of smooth white card stock to use as a guide for stamping each work. The inks I used are Sno Cone, Jellybean Green and Blueberry. A couple of olive gumdrops and done. :D

YNS Fun Friday - Let's chat
Hi all! Happy Friday! Time for a new sketch and inspiration pic challenge over on the YNS Blog! I decided to use the sketch and had to break out my little owl friend from the Need Coffee set. Because I love him. He is me in the morning. Plain and Simple. ;) I decided to make him a light gray owl using my Zig pens again. I used the stitching marks circle die set for the circles in the sketch. The larger DP layer was cut out with the largest of the stitched rectangle dies. The sentiment is embossed with white EP. I added a few ivory gumdrops to finish it off.
