Nagasaki: 9 de agosto de 1945



There were four of us staring out of the window, hypnotized by the cloud of white tower smoke rolling toward us. I shouted to Olivi to get the camera and take some pictures... Gee we better get out of here, that stuff is dangerous... The first thing I had to do was send the strike report-to inform the waiting pulic that the second atomic bomb had been released on the enemy. What a thrill! It was the greatest moment of my army career.
