The theme at CCT this week is Anything Goes. I have made a card for my granddaughter's 1st Christmas. The dies are all from Elizabeth Crafts and have been cut with white card and coloured with Distress Inks. The white card at the bottom is glitter card and I added lots of extra glitter.

CCT Masculine
This weeks theme at CCT is masculine. I made a card using a Tim Holtz image which I have coloured with my new Lyra Polycolors, they are so nice to use and blend really easily. The camera was coloured with just 1 grey pencil. I inked the edge of the card with Hickory Smoke distress ink.
The background is silver mirri card embossed with a Tim Holtz embossing folder. I have put slate alcohol ink onto the mirri card, which looks really effective but doesn't show up in the photo very well. The sentiment and filmstrip are also Tim Holtz dies.
My mum really enjoyed her 90th birthday and we had a lovely party with family and friends.

CCT Chocolate
The theme at CCT this week is Chocolate. I couldn't find anything chocolate related in my stash so went for chocolate coloured papers etc. I inked the edges of the tag with Distress ink and added papers and an image from Maja Design. The poinsettia and lace border are Tim Holtz dies and the fronds are Magnolia. The Poinsettia is cut from vellum, embossed with the matching Tim Holtz embossing folder and I added some gold guilding wax to give a little shimmer. To finish the tag I added some Fran-Tage to the background and glitter to the tree.
We have another great prize this week so I hope you can join us.

CCT Monochrome
Well I have eventually managed to get something made for this weeks CCT challenge and the theme is Monochrome. This is a money wallet which I made for a work colleague of my daughters leaving gift. I made a white wallet from a template I found on the internet and then covered it with Maya Designs papers. The inside is also decorated but I forgot to photograph that. The stamp is by Stampendous which I stamped with Distress ink and dragged the colour onto the butterfly with a wet paintbrush. The flowers are Tim Holtz mini tattered florals and the swirl is a Tonic die. I am really pleased with how it turned out and plan on making a few more for Christmas gifts.
We had a lovely weeks holiday in Wales with all my children and partners and most of my hubbys family to celebrate his 50th birthday, in fact we have booked out the whole of the farm cottages again for next year to do it all over again!
I have also been selling lots of my crafting goodies as I have far too much stuff and nowhere near enough free time to use it. The money raised is helping fund next years holiday to Rome, which is my hubbys birthday present. Still quite a bit to sell but at least I have some space back again.

CCT Die Cuts and Punches
At CCT this week we would like you to use die cuts and punches on your card, a nice and easy challenge. I have started to decorate a mini album to put some photos etc in of our recent trip to Rome. So far I have only managed to decorate the front but at least I've made a start! I bought the album from a craft sale a few years ago and have just used a piece of kraft card distressed with Pumice Stone ink to decorate the cover. The stamped image is from a new set by Tim Holtz 'Cityscapes'. The word Rome is die cut using the Tim Holtz Wordplay die, the numbers are from a very old Quickutz set and I added 2 punched corner tabs. I added some ribbon etc to the metal ring and 3 small tags cut with another Tim Holtz die. The words are stamped with some little alphabet stamps I picked up at the NEC a few years ago, they were a real bargain at £1.
Hopefully I will manage to get a couple more pages done at the weekend.

CCT Pretty in Pink
The theme at CCT this week is Pretty in Pink. I have made a tag using Prima papers which I got free on a craft mag. The heart is kraft card put through a ribbler and then painted with gesso. I added another strip of card , some flowers ribbon and pearls after distressing the edges of the tag with Distress Ink.
I'm off to Rome for a few days on Friday with hubby and daughter. I can't wait to go as Rome is somewhere I have always wanted to visit. We already have tickets for The Vatican and The Colosseum. Perfect Valentines and birthday holiday.

CCT Crazy In Love
The theme at CCT this week is Crazy in Love. I have made a tag this week using some papers which I bought for Valentines last year, I think I'll probably be using them for next years card as well! The paper has been distressed with Weathered Wood Distress Ink and using the same ink I randomly stamped some splodges from the Stampin Up Gorgeous Grunge set and also some texture stamps from last weeks Pick of the Week on Create and Craft. They are part of a Crafters Companion texture set which also included some embossing folders. They were delivered within 3 days which I think has to be a record for C + C. I then added some Aged Silver Fran-tage to the paper.
The cupid is a Tim Holtz movers and shapers die, which I cut from chipboard. I painted the chipboard shape with Gesso and when it was dry I coloured it with a gold inkpad. I then spritzed it with some black spray which I made using a Distress Ink refill in Black Soot as I don't have any ink sprays. While it was still wet I covered it in rock salt and then sprayed with the black spray again. When it was dry I removed the salt. I saw this technique on the internet and loved the effect, I shall certainly be doing it again. I distressed the heart with a Crafters Companion embossing folder from my new set and covered it in Crackle Accents. It isn't as red as it appears in the photo!
To finish the tag I used a Dymo to write the sentiment and added some ribbon which I bought on our holiday in Latvia last October and I added an Ideology clip.
Gosh that was a long post! Hopefully you'll be able to join in this weeks challenge as we have a great prize from Bunny Zoe.

CCT Stamping Crazy
The theme at CCT this week is Stamping Crazy. My son is off to Paris on a school trip in the summer so I made a French themed tag for his birthday. I cut the tag from Stampin Up cream card and stamped the background with various Tim Holtz stamps and then used Vintage Photo Distress Ink for the colour. The harlequin stamp is a very old Hero Arts one which I heat embossed to add a bit of texture. I cut the Eiffel Tower and Fleur De Lys from white card using a Tim Holtz die and then I embossed them with the corresponding texture folder. I then coloured the shapes with Tarnished Brass Distress stain and when dry I went over the top with Black Soot Distress Ink. I can't take the credit for this technique as I saw it on a blog but the results are so effective I shall definitely be doing some more. The sentiment is also Tim Holtz and the word strips are from Darkroom Door.
I really enjoyed making the tag and hopefully will get to spend more time crafting now.
