CCT Anything Goes

At last I've managed to make a card! I have to admit that over the past few months I have totally lost my love of card making so decided to take a break, hopefully I'll be making a few more over the coming months.
This card is for this week's CCT challenge which is Anything Goes. I saw the card idea on the Seven Hills Crafts blog and loved it as it is so effective. The stamps, dies and sentiment are all Lawn Fawn. I coloured the image with Copics, added some Fluffy Stuff to the hats and a few highlights with a Posca white pen. The snow in the background is embossed with white embossing powder .

I hope you have a fabulous Christmas x

CCT Something Metallic

This weeks theme at CCT is Something Metallic. I am making a start on my Christmas cards as I'm doing overtime each week until Xmas and most of our weekends are going to be busy. I stamped 'Snowy' by Penny Black and added a little colour with Copics and paper pieced his hat and scarf. The stamp in the corner was a magazine freebie and I embossed it with Tim Holtz sticky embossing powder and added some Creative Expressions glitter. It doesn't show up too well in the photo but it is very sparkly in real life. The metallic part of my card is the silver mirri card behind the white layer.

I hope you all have a good week, we are off to Lyon on Saturday for a couple of days.

CCT Add a Quote

The theme at CCT this week is Add A Quote.I have made a Christmas tag using a Penny Black stamp and Mama Elephant stamps and dies. The reindeer are coloured with Copics and I added some Glossy Accents to their noses. I haven't made a shaker card for many years but I really enjoyed making it, I just need to remember how to stop the sequins sticking to the acetate!

Hubby and I are off to Prague for a few days on Sunday with my son and his girlfriend, I'm really looking forward to it. We have a trip to Terezin concentration camp booked and are also planning a day at the zoo. I'm also meeting up with a friend I worked with a few years ago.

This weeks theme at CCT is animals and birds. I have made a very quick card using Tim Holtz dies. The reindeer is cut from double sided adhesive and is covered in gold glitter, it is so sparkly but it doesn't really show in the photo. The joy is cut from gold mirri card and I made the ticket shape from a rectangle of card cut with a corner punch.

CCT Sparkle

This weeks theme at CCT is Sparkle, perfect for all your Christmas cards. I have used a Spellbinder bauble die and a Creative Expressions stamp for my card. I have stamped the image with Versamark and then used Ranger sticky embossing powder so that I could cover the image with glitter. The photo does not really show the sparkle but it is really 'blingy'. The sentiment is Stampin Up.

We have another fab prize to give away this week so I hope you'll be able to join in the challenge.
Have a good week.

CCT - Snowflakes

This weeks challenge at CCT is snowflakes. I have made another super quick card using a Memory Box die and Cuttlebug embossing folder. The snowflake is cut in silver mirri card and has a little gem in the center and that's about it really apart from a sentiment and piece of ribbon!! I'm trying to finish all my Xmas cards as I have some new scrummy Stampin Up goodies to play with.

Bed time for me now, have a good day!
