Zebra and Roller Skates!!!

 

I mean seriously, can this cake get any sassier!?! ;)  LOVE IT! 

 

 

This one was created for my daughter's BFF Kate who is SO crazy about roller skating that she decided to have her party at a roller skating rink. Ummmm, can you say FUN GIRL!?!?!  Too bad the roller skates you rent don't look as cute as the one on top of this cake. ;))

 

Girly Elmo Cake

Love this sweet little girly Elmo cake!!!  Kendall's mama wanted a cake to match the invitation (see below) and I was so excited when she sent me the proof.  I immediately fell in love with the girly color scheme of red, pink and orange!! 

 

I could do an Elmo cake every day of the week!  He is just so happy and quite the friendly face to have hanging around in the kitchen, especially in those early morning hours OR late at night (which seems to be the only time I get to work on cakes now a days!).  When does my 3 year old start preschool again??????  But I'm not complaining...you can't be tired when Elmo is around!!  ;)

Under the Sea Cake

This under the sea cake was created for Sam who is turning 2! The cake is iced in buttercream and decorated using fondant and chocolate.

Another birthday cake for Alex!! About this time last year I was creating Alex's 1st birthday cake and now we're on to the second. :)

Here is wishing Alex an awesome dog themed 2nd birthday!!!!

The colors of this cake were made to match the party plates below and the three dog figurines represent Alex's 3 dogs at home.

When my little Olivia saw these dog figurines she about died!! Now 18 months old she was screaming, "DOGGIE DOGGIE!!!! EAT! EEEEEAT!!!" reaching out for them like like she just HAD to have them!!! How in the world do they learn so young what is and isn't a treat!?!? To me, these dogs don't really look like food, but Olivia could sure tell they were!
