...a Great.ly Winner

Last week I was super lucky to be one of the winners of Mel’s  giveaway,  a generous $100 voucher to spend in her Great.ly shop Wow!! ...so lucky indeed...
Mel was celebrating her two year blog birthday and also her new online shop.
It was hard to choose as everything is so lovely!
Mel has exquisite taste...and her shop is curated beautifully.
This is what I decided on.
a darling black and white pot planter and two adorable dotty vessels - I couldn't decide on which one to get so I got both the black dots and the mint dots!
So something for my house - I was tempted to get this scarf but decided on the home-wares instead...big thanks Mel, love them!

 I love cookbooks and this one is a beauty - I'm thrilled to be able to add it to my cookbook collection – stunning images, delicious moth-watering photos along with beautiful Italian scenary that makes you want to jump on the next plane and enjoy a foodie holiday …gelato anyone?
it’s chock full of recipes I want to try out!
Ive already made the spicy beef ribs – so good!

It was lovely to see Bill Granger has been busy with a relocation to London, a new cooking show and opening new restaurants & eateries in London, Japan and Hawaii – an Australian success story!!
Good for him!
Passion and hard work pays off and in Sydney we still have ‘Bill’s’ in Darlinghurst,  which he opened at the young age of 22 (so ambitious!) it still gets great reviews after all these years and the breakfast/brunch at Bill’s is always a treat!

A week of Fashion: A girl and her chicken

have you noticed keeping chickens is suddenly a very trendy thing to do!

My mums neighbour Lela has a few and she sometimes gives us fresh eggs....so good!

but im happy to buy my carton of eggs, i think id be a little freaked out having chickens running around in the backyard!
