Pink distressed flowers

I've been experimenting with distressing embossed flowers and I created this shabby chic set of pink flowers for a baby book I'm working on for a family member. I love making these as they make me think of springtime and were not even into Winter yet, lol.

MPTS Hangtag Creative Team Challenge #2 for November

I thought I would share the tag I created for the MPTS Hang Tag Creative Team's second challenge for November. I was inspired by a jacket that I've had for 20 or more years. I love the colors and thought the tag should reflect them as they are some of my favorite colors. I've created some distressed flowers so I made another for this project to coordinate with the ribbon I used. Purple was the color choice I choose as I love the ribbon I used on the tag. That color is also in the jacket I love. I'll post a picture soon so you can see the inspiration for the tag.

My first Make the Cut design

I got a Cricuit Expression for my birthday last month, I love it! I've never really gotten to play with it much until this past week after I got the Make the Cut software. I can now do more with the machine. This is what I came up with for my first made from scratch design. I'm still working on two baby scrapbooks so I'm trying to stay within the baby theme for the books. I'm pleased with the results but I haven't finished glueing it together. I love the software it's very user friendly, I thought I would share my progress.

MPTS- HTCT Nov challenge

One of our More Paper Than Shoes HTCT challenges for the month of November consist of a tag created with an Autumn theme. It also need to have leaves, foil and metal in the design. This is what I came up with at the last minute as I've struggled with motivational block since I got sick a few weeks back. I'm hoping this will help get me back in the mood to creating tags again.
