Spooky Halloween Hair Clips for Abbey + Playing at Lindy's October Color Challenge & Scrap And Me Blog Challenge #121!!!

Goodmorning lovely friends,
Our daughter Abbey loves Halloween and she asked me to make some spooky hair clips and so I did. The first clips you see in the picture below are flower hair clips with handmade fabric flower with in the center a eye {love those eyes}and coloured with some magicals. The other clips are made with some Finnabair moulds and I altered them with some lindy's embossing powders and some Finnabair glitters.

Spooky Halloween Hair Clips

These are my favorites loved how they turned out and those eyes are wonderful and it just finishes off the flowers at least that's what I think.

Our cute witch

And these are some spookyer ones it's so fun if you use embossing powder on a black background it turnes out very different than you think like you see above. The colors I used are above the hair clip.

With these Spooky Halloween Hair Clips I will be entering this months color challenge at
the Lindy's Gang Facebook Page the set of this month is "Haunted Halloween"
Here in Holland we are not very familiar with Halloween but there is more and more to buy & to do for that day and I have to say I love that! I used two colors of the Magicals & three Embossing Powders, Loved making these off the page projects for Abbey.

and I will be entering this months challenge at the ScrapAndMe Blog which is
 "Anything But a Card"
and I made some spooky Halloween hair clips for our daughter Abbey since she loves Halloween and spooky stuff.

Thank you so much for your visit today. And I sure hope that I have inspired you to make something spooky & I wish you a wonderfull and creative day!

BeeYOUtiful Journey Layout for ***2Crafty Chipboard***!!!

  Goodmorning lovely friends,

Today I show you some inspiration on my blog. For this post I made another layout and again I used some of my favorite colors like purple and green & chipboard pieces by 2Crafty Chipboard. I used a picture of our beautiful children and a colorful paper collection. Not  so long ago I discovered that 2Crafty Chipboard lends itselfs really good to sew on it and so I did here with the pretty Frame Maria's.

BeeYOUtiful Jouney:

2Crafty Chipboard used:
Frame Maria's
Ginny's Flourish Set
Photo Adornment - Flourish Set 5
Fine Word Set 3
BeeYOUtiful Set

I treated all the chipboard pieces with white gesso and for the swirly pieces & the word journey. I made them green with some matte acrylic paint then I added some wax in a stained wood color. The word "BeeYOUtiful" was treated with three different acrylics in the color purple.

I just love adding the fine word set words to other phrases or words that gives it more demension don't you think so too? The pretty Frame Maria's was treated with several layers of different colors of embossing powders {white & light purple} Then I machine stitched around the circle & the straight and ik that circle I added a phrase from the paper collection I used here.

Sure hope you like my layouts as much as I love making them.
Stay happy & creative much

Evermore Adore Layout for ***Creative Embellishments*** and Playing at Prima Marketing's June BAP Challenge!

Goodmorning lovelies
I just can't believe this will be the last month designing for this wonderful company. I have enjoyed every single moment of it. Thank you so much Nicolle for believing in me and my work! It's such a great family to work for.....but now it's time for me to take a little scrappy break and make some amazing family memories.....this summer on our holiday to Turkey! With lots of new pictures to scrap for me ;-) Today my layout is based on the Prima Marketing BAP of the month June for this layout I used the pretty "Salvage District" collection and I lighted up the teal color in this collection and added it to my Creative Embellishments chipboard pieces with some Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powders.

Evermore Adore:
When I saw this cute little girl on pinterest I knew right away which collection I was going to use and this layout was born very quickly. The colors in this collection let you make either shabby chic layouts or vintage ones just by adding a different color of flower or different technique.
As I told you before this layout was based on this months BAP at Prima Marketing I just always love their sketches just take a look.
I didn't use three pictures but I added some pieces of that paper collection behind the picture to make it look like that. As I said this was a quick page for me to make sometimes I will be staring at a page for hours and don't know how to go further but this one I just finished in less then four hours wow....and you know what I really love this style of scrapping. On the base of my layout I added some texture past graphite by Finnabair & golden crackle past on a Prima stencil. Then I stamped with the Distressed Text Stamp!

I also sprayed on this page with some storm cloud color bloom spray but also with bombshell black, sidewalk chalk and c'est la vie cerise {from Lindy's}! This collection of beautiful papers has some amazing text stickers in it that you can use like I did on the picture.
The chipboard pieces are all treated with gesso and Lindy's Stamp Gang embossing powders {I wish Prima would make some of those like the color bloom sprays} I also added a bunch of Prima metal pieces, mini art stones and glass beads.

Products used:
Prima Marketing's: Salvage District 12" by 12"collection
Prima Marketing's: Salvage District Flowers different packs
Prima Marketing's: Salvage District embellishments pack

Capturing the Moment Layout for ***Lindy's Stamp Gang***

Hello Dear Friends,
Today I would like to show you a layout I made with some of the color spray's in this month's color challenge. I left out the pink tones and used the pretty Summer Lovin'SunGreased Lightnin'Green & Tilt-a-Wheel Teal for my layout.
I have a little tutorial on how I began my page but because that I always scrap at night those picture are not of a very high quality sorry for that.
I always start with a back page that I always layer with another pieces of card stock because if you use spray's most of the time you papers will curl.
First I distressed and inked the edges of my layout and placed some washi tape on two places on my layout.
Then I gave it a light gesso finish
Step three I glued down some random letters on my layout.
Last step before getting dirty with spray's ;-) love that part. Another gesso layer.
Then I took out my beautiful spray's Summer Lovin'SunGreased Lightnin'Green & Tilt-a-Wheel Teal and sprayed randomly. Later on I embossed the letters with Sunset Yellow Orange & Tilt-a-Wheel Teal and stamped on top of that with a script stamp.
Here is my layout:
Since we have a boy I wanted to go more masculine because I was using this cute picture of his little hand with my husbands hand. That's the reason I left out the pink spray's.
Let's have a closer look:

I just love the effect of the colors blending so perfectly

If you love the chipboard I used you have the chance to win them everyday by visiting the Imaginarium Designs blog. Speaking of winning if you play in our monthly color challenge you can win a $50 dollar store credit awesome right?
