So okay, here goes...based on my extensive internet research, I found an article yg kasi summarise semua the signs mueheheheh...here are the signs if he likes me...

1. He will make eye contact with you, and then look away when your eyes meet. (ada jugalah beberapa kali kami terpandang mata masing2, trus dia sunyum2 kambing cakap "Apa?" )

My First Hip Hop Dance Class

It's Saturday and my stint as "ketua guru bertugas" has finally ended. To celebrate a not-so-bad attempt, me and my colleagues registered ourselves for a "dance class" at a local gym here. In my mind, I thought the class would be filled with many types of dances like salsa, rumba, samba, etc, etc...you know, the slow and easy to follow numbers like the pocho-pocho or the cha-cha.

Our instructor, Ralph was a former student of the school where I was teaching and since he is a "taiko" to some of the students there, I can see a number of students from my school following the same class.

I can imagine what they would tell their friends.

"Uiiiyooo...teacher Jacinta menari macam giuk...jelek nya!!!" LOL. Never mind.

Our song was "Batter, Batter" (I think) from HSM2 soundtrack. When Ralph showed us the basics, it looked easy. Just a lil'move on the hips, touch the floor with your heels and toes...boleh ba ni...hehehe...eat nuts kunun.

Sekali sa buat...betul2 macam giuk kepanasan oh!! Siap ber"safel-safel" (shuffle bah tu...but the kids sini pronounce it like that) lagi! Patutlah tu budak2 suka bershuffle...siok pula kasi bingkuk2 kaki. Then Ralph showed us the "Wave". It's a move where you have to pull your tummy in and move your chest upwards simultaneously (okay, I know I sucked in describing a dance move properly but that is how I see it hahaha). Then, he showed us the "Punch and SLide"...wahhhhh best oh!! I learned a lot of moves in one class! Yeay!

All in all, I think hip hop dancing is a great workout! I was sweating buckets!! Even my towel and t-shirt are wet...ewwww. But it was worth it...

Tomorrow I'm going again!

That Darn Mic!!!

There I was, sitting on my table, listening to Oasis' "Whatever" in my MP3, locked away in my own world trying frantically to finish marking all the students' exercise books when suddenly Ustazah Azizah touched my shoulder and told me, "Boss...kau KETUA GURU BERTUGAS minggu ni."

I knew it.

So, I told her sweetly, "Ya, Cigu...sa tauuuuu suda," and gave her my "new teacher" smile. Usually, the leader of the teacher on duty is supposed to guard the main gate and report the week's happenings during the next assembly. Tiba-tiba saja she said, "Cikgu buat announcement la ah nanti..." WHA...???

So, fast forward...assembly time! That darn mic kept making strange sounds and yet the MC cant amplify her voice there!! Buduh punya microphone!!! So, the MC had to announce using naturally amplified voice. Yang sa heran budak2 ni kan...time bising di kelas bukan main kuat lagi tu suara, tapi time suruh buat announcement or presentation di depan, bukan main lagi kicil tu suara macam penyu. So, jalanlah sia dengar gaya2 guru bertugas ke podium and cakap in the loudest voice I can muster.

"KAMU BULIH DENGAR KAHHHH????"

"Buliiiiiiii...." jawab my murid-murid.

"MINGGU NI, CIKGU DAN CIKGU SO AND SO, SO AND SO dan ...errr...(tingu paper yang dibawa bersama) AKAN BERTUGAS...BAHHHH DATANGLAH JUMPA KAMI KALAU ADA MASALAH...(kalau teda, bagus juga...hehehehe)"

"BAHHHHHH!!!!" jawab murid-murid.

"TERIMA KASIH!!!!!!" said I, and off I go from the podium.

Then suddenly, the damn microphone berbunyi seperti sediakala...even better...kuat lagi tu. I was so pissed off, even when my colleagues were poking fun at me I don't even have the mood to laugh at myself like I normally would do. Buduh punya mic...sot...@#&!&@#@@!!!!

After the assembly, ada laaa this two guy teachers yang memang bikin panas tapi best mau berkawan pigi kasi ketawa sa.

"Uinahhhhh si Jacintoot...garang juga kau tadi!!!" kata guru lelaki A.

"Yabah...macam mau marah budak!!! BWAHAHAHAHAH" sampuk guru lelaki B.

"Abis tu? Kalau sa nda kasi kuat suara sa, kamu bilang sa macam semut. Nanti kamu. Sa tidak tulung kamu punch kad...baru kamu tau...*evil laugh*" kata si Cynta dalam hati. And sa betul2 nda punch kad dorang...like I do normally...AHAHAHAHAHAHA

My Dream Guy...

I am writing this post as a response from a friend's challenge. We were poking fun with each other and she said I should list down the characteristics and qualities of my ideal guy...I thought it would be fun, so here it is...

1. He is wise

Money-wise, knowledge-wise, etc basically this guy should be wiser and responsible. It helps if he has a degree or higher than that because I believe that the guy should be wiser than me in other aspects so we can complement each other...

2. He is employed

Yes, he must have a job. Enough said.

3. He is loyal and caring

To me being loyal and caring is important, I really like these qualities in my boyfriend

4. He is a good listener

I love a guy who would listen but then again this creature is quite rare...

5. He is protective not possessive

I've dated and had casual flings with several guys who are protective AND possessive. Their possessiveness started off quite flattering to me, however after several dates (or two dates the most) it started to bug me. Hey, I like you but you turn me off with your penchant of possessiveness dressed as protectiveness. I like the way some men would hold the small of my back or my shoulders guiding me to cross the roads, but maybe before we say COMMIT, let's just stick with the hands' holding, kay?

6. He encourages my dreams...and pursue his as well

When a guy has ambition and passion, I find his level of sexiness and attractiveness increase to the MAXXXX! Now, I watched once in Oprah about finding a soulmate...the speaker (i forgot her name) said that your soulmate made you to be better than you are - in other words, the said man helps you be a better person. Being an occasional pessimist, I'd love my guy to encourage me to pursue my dreams and shares his with me.

Well, that's the 6 traits of an ideal guy for me. If this guy exist, wow...i'll be the luckiest girl in the world. If he doesn't, i guess that's reality. But whatever comes or may be...i'll keep my eyes open for him.
