Holiday Cards at WhoopsiDaisy
The challenge this week at WhoopsiDaisy is to make Holiday Cards. I decided to use this sweet image of two little ones fast asleep in front of the fireplace. I can't help but wondering if they are standing guard to get a glimpse of Santa or if he has come and gone and they are tuckered out from the activities and excitement of the day.
I decided to make this card in traditional colours and while I didn't put a sentiment on the outside, there is a Christmas greeting on the inside. I have made so many cards for the holidays lately but I still need to take an inventory so I know just how many more I have to do. It is hard to believe how soon Christmas will be upon us.
Make sure you check out the work of the other designers and enter your card for a chance to win some digis from WhoopsiDaisy. You don't have to use an image from WhoopsiDaisy to enter the challenge but do check out the fabulous images in the store because they are so sweet and I bet you find some that you will just have to have.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
The Crafty Pad - Red & Green
Our Daily Bread Designs - Holiday Cards
Digi Doodle Shops Best - Anything Goes
Hodge Podge Shop - Anything Goes
Pals Paper Arts - Ribbon or Fabric

Anytime Easel Card
The challenge this week at WhoopsiDaisy Challenges is to make Anytime Easel cards. I love making easel cards because of all the fancy fold cards they are one of the easiest. If you haven't made one just Google a tutorial and loads of them will pop up. You might have to put a little note with the card to let people know how to display it because it appears that they have no idea, which surprises me because it looks pretty obvious to me.
I love all the sweet images from the WhoopsiDaisy digi shop so it didn't take long to find something that would suit this birthday card. I hope you will check out the wonderful work of the other design team members and then show us your creations. Each week a random winner will receive 2 sheets of digis and the creators of the top three picks will receive a badge to proudly display on their blogs.
I am entering this card in the following challenges:
Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
Sassy Studio Designs - Anything Goes
Freshly Brewed - Two or More Patterned Papers
The Sisterhood of Crafters - Birthday Cards
My Time to Craft - Rhapsody of Roses

Christmas for WhoopsiDaisy
This week at WhoopsiDaisy Challenge Blog we are challenging you to show us Christmas cards. My card doesn't have classical Christmas colours because I decided to pick up the colour of the berries on the paper, which was a rusty red but I still think it will be well received by the person I send it to. These sweet images from WhoopsiDaisy lend themselves beautifully to vintage styles so that is the direction I have taken. Please check out the work of my talented team mates and be prepared to be inspired.
I am going to enter this card in the following challenges.
All Sorts - Christmas
Crazy 4 Challenges - Square Cards
No Time to Stamp - Tags
Totally Papercrafts - Tags

WhoopsiDaisy Blog Hop & Challenge
Edited to add: This blog hop will last for one week.
I'd like to welcome you to the first ever WhoopsiDaisy blog hop! We've decided to hold a blog hop to celebrate our return to weekly challenges! Hopefully you have started the hop at Net's blog but if you haven't, take a virtual hop over there to begin.
There is a letter on each blog which forms a phrase common to us all! Please make a note of each letter and the phrase. Your last stop will be the WhoospiDaisy blog. Please leave a comment there, but not the phrase! Linnie will pick a winner and they will then email her the phase and win their choice of 4 sheets of digis. There is also a draw on each blog and the winner will receive the digi used on that blog. Make sure you leave a comment here with your contact information so we can reach you if you are a winner.
Here is the order of the blog hop:

Natalyia

Angie
Cec (You Are Here)
Rleen

Now, on to the challenge for this week and we want to see cards with sparkle. There is a lot more sparkle to this card than the photo is showing. Each flower is glittered, there are those pretty pink gems and the two crystal headed pins that seem to be blending in at the top.

Exciting Challenge News from Whoopsi Daisy
I am doing a quick post this morning to let you know that the challenges at Whoopsi Daisy are going weekly starting November 1st.
To celebrate this change, we will be having a blog hop that day so mark your calendar and plan to play along. Linnie will be giving 4 sheets of her wonderful digis as a grand prize and each design team member will have a draw for a single image. Wow, with so many chances to win, you won't want to miss it.
In the meantime, you still have time to play in the October challenge, which is Paper Piece It. If you don't have one of Linnie's digis, hop over to her store and pick some up - they are soooo sweet.

Paper Piecing at Whoopsi Daisy
This month we are challenging you to do some paper piecing at the Whoopsi Daisy Challenge Blog. I think this little lady is so elegant and yet so sweet. I found some freebie velvet digital paper when I was surfing around months ago and while it may be difficult to see in the photo, that is what I used for her coat and hat.
I don't have a sentiment on the front but I have put a Christmas sentiment on the inside.
I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:
Charisma Cardz - Christmas Crafting
Creative Inspirations - Christmas in September
Your Next Stamp - Make Your Own Flowers
Little Red Wagon - Make Your Own Embellishments
Creative Card Crew - Flowers

Lots of Flowers & New DT
I am pleased to announce that I have accepted an invitation to be on the design team for Whoopsi Daisy. Now if you haven't seen these images before, be prepared to fall in love with them because they are the sweetest digis. The best part is that they come in sheets with four images for a very good price.
Our challenge to you this month at Whoopsi Daisy is to create a card and pile on the flowers. I tried something a bit eclectic with this card and after it was finished, I realized I am not particularly happy with the funky floral background paper but I like the rest of the card - live and learn :)
I am going to enter this card in the following challenges:
Cowgirl Up Designs - Flower Power
Stampin' for the Weekend - Anything Goes
Alphabet Challenge - R is for Roses
Image: Sheet 52 (Whoopsi Daisy)
Card Stock: Recollections
Paper: Provo Craft
Colouring Medium: Pencil Crayons (Prismacolor & Koh-I-Noor) with OMS (Taltine)
Tools & Embellishments: Eyelet Lace orner & Edge Punches, Doily Lace Edge Punch & Frond Punch (Martha Stewart), Ribbon (Michaels), Flowers (Bridal Supply Store), Pearl Stickers (Recollections), Chalk (Mungyo)
