Last Chance Hottie Sale

We still have some leftover Hotties from The Hottie Challenge so there'll be a last chance Hottie Sale starting tonight at 7.30PM.

 
Each Hottie is for sale for $25 (plus postage) and all funds will be donated to  The Margaret Pratt Foundation

Sale ends Tuesday night at 8.00PM - anything leftover at that time will be donated to the foundation to sell!

Now that the Hottie Challenge Exhibition at Open Drawer has finished, it's time to announce the winner of the Peoples Choice Award....

For any non-locals who purchased a Hottie, I'm heading over to pick them up on Tuesday and then I'll package them up and pop them in the post for you!

The Hottie Challenge - Final Days

Can you believe there's only two days to go?

I went to the visit the Hotties at Open Drawer today after my HLTTV Editors meeting, and my fellow double lung transplant recipient (and photographer extraordinaire) Snap Happy Ian bought along his camera gear to take some lovely photos for me.
(I promise I won't subject you to any of my crappy iPhone photos in this post).

There are lots of Hotties still up for grabs - anything that DOES NOT have a red dot is still for sale.

If you're interested in buying one of your very own, I'm happy to collect it from Open Drawer and pop it in the post for you next week. All you need to do is email me - mscurlypops@gmail.com

Alternatively, leave a comment on this post and I'll get back to you - but please make sure your email address in enabled in your ID or I won't be able to email you back.

They're all just $40 each - bargain price!

But the best bit of course, is that all the funds raised go to the Margaret Pratt Foundation for Lung Rejection Research at the Alfred Hospital.

Lotsa Lotsa Hotties! Updated

 I headed off to Open Drawer with B-Fab to visit the Hotties today after my appointments at the Alfred.

They're all looking spectacularly beautiful hanging in the gallery!

I thought I'd share the ones that are still available for sale.

If you can't make it to the exhibition, but you've fallen in love with one, and must have it...

I can have it put on hold for you.

And I'm happy to pack them up and pop them in the post once the exhibition is finished.

The Hottie Challenge Exhibition Opening

Wow today was so much fun!

Please excuse my dodgy iPhone photography skills - I was trying to snap when there was a gap in the crowd while chatting away at the same time.

Karen and Nicole have already written blog posts from today (with much better photos than mine, I might add)!

Robyn and Prue from Open Drawer have done a magnificent job putting together the exhibition once again - they certainly have an eye for putting together the works so that everything flows. It seriously looks magnificent hanging on those white walls with the beautiful wooden floors.

I may have babbled a little with my 'off the cuff' speech - I get really nervous speaking in public!

All the Hotties that arrived at my place before heading to Open Drawer have been added to the Flickr Group, and you'll find lots and lots of photos on Instagram with the hashtag #hottiechallenge2013

These are a couple of quick mosaics, but I'll be blogging all the photos individually in the coming couple of weeks too.

Remember - the exhibition runs until July 28th with all the proceeds going to the Margaret Pratt Foundation Heart Lung Transplant Trust.
