New pouches sent to Handmade Heaven

My Creative Space is officially MIA today I'm afraid....

The only crafting that has been happening in the last week is of the Super Secret Non-Bloggable pattern testing variety. But, I do have a 'to sew' list for the weekend, which includes two birthday presents. April and May are always crazy for birthdays. I can think of nine family members / friends right off the top my head that have birthdays in these two months.

One thing that I did actually manage this week was to send some new stock to Handmade Heaven, so if you're in the area, make sure to pop in for a look!

I was a little bit worried that they wouldn't make it, even though I'd express posted a lovely new selection of brooches to Handmade Heaven yesterday.

My creative space.... is off to the market

There's no time for creating today. I'm sorting and packing my stock so that I can head off to the Kris Kringle Night Market at the Northcote Town Hall tonight. I don't mind the packing so much, but the unpacking is an absolute bore....... at least my sorting and packing skills are becoming much more efficient with all of these markets!

I just need to modify my handbag stand slightly, so I have the cordless drill on charge in the garage, and I'm waiting patiently for the litttle green light.

After two markets last week, I'm madly re-stocking for tonights Kris Kringle Market at the Northcote Town Hall.

I'm packaging up lots and lots of Felt Flower Brooch Kits - they make great christmas pressies for anyone who is crafty. 

Short and sweet today - gotta get back to it!

Re-stocked Part 2

I was getting a bit worried after last weeks effort by Australia Post, but my little package of brooches finally arrived at Handmade Heaven.

My creative space

In my creative space at the moment..... a brooch production line.

I have brooches in various stages of production strewn everywhere around the house. Wherever I sit, there's a pile to be stitched. I even have a blister on my thumb from the needle!

I'm also experimenting with flywire - I don't know if this is heading anywhere just yet, I'll just have to wait and see.

In other strange news, I sent a small parcel of brooches to Handmade Heaven on Monday afternoon, and of course, I put my return address on the bottom of the box. Tuesday was a public holiday in Melbourne. On Wednesday, I opened up my mailbox to find that Australia Post had mailed my own parcel back to me. What the????
