Sunday Stock Clearance

It's finally time to start clearing out some of my CurlyPops stock...

I don't know if I'll ever have time to do a market again, so I'm just going to mark down a few things when I have time and clear them out via the shop.

Today, I've marked down my Poppy and Harry Cloth Doll Kits by almost 50%. They're down to just $12.

There are not many left and once they're gone, they're gone forever.... so get in quick!

Do you wallpaper?

I had so much fun making over my bedroom chest of drawers with wallpaper recently, that I thought I'd share the love.

I'm releasing twelve different wallpaper designs in small craft packs.

They're perfect for artwork, cardmaking, scrapbooking, furniture makeovers.... hey, you could even use them on the wall!

Each pack comes with full 'how to' instructions...

There are three designs in each pack.

Now ready and waiting in the shop!

PS - I'll be writing a little 'Drawer Makeover How To' guide very soon - I promise!

Gift Tags - New in the Shop!

Do you remember that little design sneaky peek from earlier in the week?

Well this is one of the products that I was working on...

They're quite difficult to photograph as they're nice and bright and shiny (my photos are not really doing them justice unfortunately).

There are two different shapes to choose from, and there are twelve original CurlyPops designs in each pack.

Ready and waiting in the shop!

Hearty

There seems to be a bit of a theme happening around these parts...

I'm still trying out some new things and seeing if they work.

I've kept some of these for myself, and also popped some in the shop.

Have a happy Sunday!

Adding some colour

I have the day off today - yippee!

So, I'm trying really hard to be productive and start ticking things off the mighty big list.

The first job was to get the cushion covers re-listed in the shop - TICK.

Next up - stocktake... wish me luck!

The time has come to re-open my little online shop for business!

Somewhere Over The Rainbow

I'm ever so slightly obsessed with rainbows at the moment.

Yesterday I made myself a Rainbow Cushion for the couch, and then whipped up a couple extra for the shop.

I love the intensity of the bright colours!

Megan blogged about Melli's Rainbow Disco party yesterday too. If you love rainbow colours, then make sure to check it out. It's brilliant!

Have a rainbow of a day...

Did someone say bibs?

You guessed it.... I've been making bibs again!

These are the latest prints of my very own designs.

There's only one of each until my next fabric delivery arrives on November 28th.

Ready and waiting in the shop!

Getting my bibs in a row.

Literally, not metaphorically...

I thought it was high time that I designed my very own unique range of bibs.

After some experimentation with basecloths (I would have dearly loved to have them printed onto a linen blend, but it just wasn't practical), I chose to go with a plain 100% cotton.

This is the first time that I've layered my hand drawn illustrations onto the top of a digitally designed pattern (rather than just a plain background), and I love the effect that it gives.

These are the first five designs in the bib range. I'm really hoping that the mums will love having something completely unique for their bubbas. Oh, and of course, they make perfect gifts for baby showers and birth pressies (hint hint)...

They're in the shop!

They're Totes Awesome

I love a good Tote Bag.

They're seriously awesome for toting things about the place.

I have a very nice collection of Totes.

I use them all the time.

I even made myself another one not very long ago.

Then I decided to design some new fabric and make some more.

Perfect for Spring.

They're in the shop.

New! Hexagon Fabric

There's much excitement around these parts today as my new fabric design is now available.

I've had the hexie-fever for a little while now...

.... and I've been dreaming of a hexie dress for summer (after the 422* other things on the wish list)

In the meantime, you can find hexies in either a white base or a grey base in the shop.

*might be a slight exaggeration

There are only a few fat quarters of these designs left, all printed on a lovely 55% linen / 45% combed cotton base.

I'm also throwing in free postage, but be snappy before they clear out for good!

New Fabric Range

There was much excitement when I heard a knock at the door thismorning. It was the sound of my new fabric range arriving!

Mr Limpy Houdini Attack Dog made lots of noise.... Oh, the poor Delivery Driver.

You may remember that I conducted a little online colour research on the social networks recently.
I posed the question:

What is your favourite colour combo at this very moment in time?

Linear Design in Aquamarine Colourway

I was very happy to find that Grey/Green Grey/Blue and Blue/Green were some of the most popular combos.

Linear Design in Tangerine Colourway

I couldn't resist the same design in one of my fave colour combos!

Clark Loves Edna in Aquamarine Colourway

Then of course there's Clark and Edna. These two were some of my favourite hand-drawn illustrations, so I couldn't resist combining them into a Chic Geek Fun design.

Hope you like them too!

They're now in the Fabric Section of the shop.

Un-Reel

I was sitting on the couch earlier this week staring at just a teeny part of my collection of vintage cotton reels, when I had a little brainwave...

So I dragged out all of my jewellery making supplies, and made myself a new necklace (and a huge mess).

I've been wearing it for a few days and I love it.

So I thought I'd whip up a few more and pop them in the shop, just in time for Mothers Day next weekend.

You can find them right here.

My Creative Space.... Cushions

I'm sewing up a cushion storm this week... which is kinda perfect considering the cool blustery change which is making me want to snuggle up on the couch and catch up on all the eps of Footballers Wives that are currently lined up on my Foxtel IQ.

I'm playing my creative space early this week as I'm off to Transplant Clinic tomorrow.... but before I get there, I'm heading to Gleaners Inc to drop off Sunshine Plantation and Tropical Floral.

I've popped We Crossed The Nullabor and Puppy Eyes in the cushion cover section of the shop, just in case anyone falls in love with them and feels the need to snap them up....

Exciting News - You Sew Girl Patterns now in stock

It's been so hard to keep this a secret over the last few weeks, but from today, I'm stocking You Sew Girl patterns by Nicole Mallalieu in my online shop.

I was very fortunate to be able to work with Nikki for a couple of years.

In that time, I learned an amazing amount of information about sewing, bag making, and garment construction. As a fairly newbie self taught sewer, her patterns were the first ones that actually made sense to me.

They're jam packed full of step-by-step instructions, diagrams, and photos to guide you through your project from start to finish.

Most patterns also have lots of variations included, so that you can use the same pattern over and over again to create something completely new.

Pop on over and check out the pattern section in the shop!

It's a LONG weekend.... yippee!

To celebrate, I'm having a little sale - just enter the code LONG at checkout for 20% off anything in the shop.

That's it - super simple. Have a great one.

Mini Fabric Swatches

Do you ever wish you had a cute little fabric swatch to make a zip pouch?

Or maybe a flex frame pouch?

Maybe you'd even like to applique a t-shirt for a little one...

Well it's your lucky day as I've just added a range of mini fabric swatches to the shop and at only $3 each, they're a bargain too!
