Happy Tuesday! Scott and I FINALLY took the time to put together a
few pics from our recent Caribbean cruise vacation to share with you. We sailed on Royal Caribbean's Oasis Of The Seas ~ such a magnificent ship!

The shades of the Caribbean waters inspired me to make a shabby lap quilt, (measures 50"x60"), using various shades of aquas, blues and greens. I haven't really quilted in about 20 years or so but I fell in love with the sample made from this pattern and thought I would take on the challenge! Now I am hooked on quilting once again!
It is so comfy, cozy and super easy to make on the quilting difficulty scale :)
My dear sister Tina asked If I would make her one using predominantly pinks and greens. Thankfully she chose one of my favorite color combos so selecting the fabric was super easy :) Love when that happens! Here's a pic of the fabric that I am using to make Tina's minus the one on the far left (changed my mind on that one):
