I flipped the Pam's sketch 90 degrees to create my Jingle Bells card.

For color inspiration, I used the lovely colors from this week's Color Throwdown Challenge #71, CTD71. I chose to showcase the "Jingle Bells" sheet music & add splashes of color with my stamping & embellishing.

Using a super-duper sharp sissors, I cut out the stamped Christmas tree image & layered in on top of the Cuttlebug snowflake embossed PTI Kraft cs. First I gave the snowflake embellishments a lil' vintagey look by smudging on a lil' bit of the Ranger Tea Dye ink then I placed a Making Memories crystal brad in the center! A Jingle Bells card wouldn't be complete without Jingle Bells! :) I strung a few jingle bells together with a piece of SU silver cord & attached it to my red bow & fastened a pink button in the center. They REALLY do Jingle!!!!

Hi Ladies! Thanks to all who played along last week in the Just Us Girls Wild Card Challenge! I really enjoyed viewing all of the entries! Soooo many GORGEOUS creations! Saturday rolls around before we know it & it's time again for a NEW Just Us Girls challenge! This week Maria is our lovely Hostess & she has challenged us to create using her AMAZING sketch! Here's my Give Thanks card:

For my main background, I used a piece of DP resembling newspaper print from K&Company. Hopefully that will help stream line my stamping, as I would like to duplicate this card :) I paper pieced the pumpkins however, I used the BossKut Leaf die to make all those lil' leafs!

For color & some texture inspiration, I referred to the picture of the Thanksgiving Pumpkin Luminarias from Martha Stewart Living via Carolina Panache featured this week as the Tuesday Trigger at the Moxie Fab World Blog. For inspiration & a whole lot of fun, please be sure to visit the Moxie Fab World Blog & all the other BEAUTIFUL entries.

I love the soft-subtle green ghords with the dull yellow glow shining through. I attempted to recreate the lattice-like pattern using a Fiskars border punch. LOL
