Welcome to Day 10 of the Pink Paislee Countdown to Christmas event! 

Today it's my turn to share a project on the Pink Paislee blog in celebration of the Countdown to Christmas event. I have a Christmas holiday home decor project to share featuring lots of goodies from the City Sidewalks Collection along with die cut embellishments made using beautiful patterned paper from the City Sidewalks Collection.

I love layering embellishments and the City Sidewalks Parcel Tags, City Sidewalks Ephemera, and City Sidewalks Parcel Tags makes this so easy to do so! I layered each panel with a combination of items from the previous mentioned packs. For example, shown in the panel below is a mixture of patterned paper from the City Sidewalks Collage Sheets, a tag from City Sidewalks Parcel Tags, a piece of ephemera (number 25) from City Sidewalks Ephemera and a few embellishments made using beautiful City Sidewalks Collection patterned papers.

I also enjoy creating coordinating die cut embellishments for my projects adding a bit of dimension. Shown below is a die cut Poinsettia that was made using City Sidewalks Santas patterned paper and a few die cut rolled roses made using City Sidewalks City Shoppers patterned paper.

May your holidays Sparkle... 36

Hi there! So happy it's Friday! I have the day off from work and a million and one errands to run! It's been a crazy week for me. I had to have yet another crown placed on one of my molars :( ~ this over 40 something all what it's cracked up to be! 

Today one of my cards that I made many moons ago is being featured on the Melissa Frances blog :) If you have a chance I would be tickled pink if you stopped by - click HERE. Thanks in advance :) I have made several and I don't have a clue which one it is so it will be a pleasant surprise for me as well!

I have a Christmas card to share with you today that I made using a beautiful sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments along with pretty patterned paper from the Melissa Frances Deck the Halls collection. I layered the sentiment on a die cut made using Die-namics Layered Label Die which was then layered on a doily die cut made using Die-namics Decorative Doily.

I finished it off with a Wild Cherry Poinsettia made using Die-namics Poinsettia.

MFT November New Product Tour 69

Today I am sharing a shadowbox, featuring LJD Darling Dots stamp set and is FULL of MFT goodness and Die-namics dies along with sweet photos of my family :)

 I made a paper patchwork stocking using Darling Dots and Die-namics Jumbo Christmas Stocking. I stamped a fun sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments using MFT Wild Cherry ink on a die cut label made using Die-namics Layered Label Die.

This panel features die cut numbers made using Die-namics High Rise numbers and Darling Dots stamped/embossed patterned paper along with the month of DECEMBER from LL Journal It - Calendar Basics that was stamped using MFT Wild Cherry ink on a die cut label made using Die-namics LJD Howdy Frames.

Next is a gorgeous shimmery Sno Cone snowflake that was made using Die-namics Jumbo Snowflake along with a smaller snowflake made using Die-namics Let It Snowflake die:

Couldn't resist adding a few various size Poinsettias made using Die-namics Poinsettia and a flourish made using Die-namics Medium Fancy Flourish:

and last but not least is a fun Santa sleigh made using Die-namics Santa Sleigh topped off with a Sno Cone snowflake and a Whip Cream button.

I also made a Christmas card featuring Darling Dots. I stamped a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments on a die cut label made using Die-namics Framed Greetings. I completed the card with a die cut flourish made using Die-namics Medium Fancy Flourish and a Wild Cherry cardstock Poinsettia made using Die-namics Poinsettia

Here's a short tutorial showing how I created the cute die cut Darling Dots stocking:

Stamp 1/2" W x 6" L strips of Berrylicious and Sno Cone cardstock. Stamp image using larger dots from Darling Dots using VersaMark ink, heat emboss using fine white embossing powder then cut into 1/2" squares.

Adhere squares to a piece of cardstock, alternating every other square with the various colored cardstock.

Using Die-namics Jumbo Christmas Stocking die cut stocking then stitch around perimeter:

Die cut stocking topper, adhere in place and stitch across horizontal edge. Apply Distress ink around edges:

Die cut Sour Apple felt Holly leaves, adhere to stocking then stitch 3 Wild Cherry buttons to stocking:

MFT November Die-namics Feature and Pep Rally 45

Now that we've teased and tempted you all week long, it's almost time for you to shop for your favorite Brand Spankin' New products from MFT.
But first... it's time for our Die-namics Feature and Pre-Release Pep Rally!
Our Design Team has been busy creating jaw-dropping and inspiring projects for you, and we've saved the best for last.
We've taken an in-depth look at this month's Die-namics, while re-visiting the amazing sets being released tonight at 10 PM EST RIGHT HERE in the MFT Boutique.

For today's project, I chose to focus on the gorgeous Die-namics Poinsettia. I created a layout featuring a photo of my dear daughter Angie that was taken 10 years ago when she was 13 years old. I stamped a sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments using Jellybean Green ink on a die cut label made using Die-namics Vertical Greetings 11. 

The  Die-namics Poinsettia die set makes such gorgeous detailed blooms. Up close, you can see the embossed vein detail. Layered behind the trio of Poinsettias in the left lower corner are Kraft flourishes made using Die-namics Medium Fancy Flourish along with Die-namics Large Leafy Flourish. In the upper right hand corner, layered behind the Pink Lemonade Poinsettia is a smaller die cut flourish made using Die-namics Leafy Flourish along with a Kraft flourish made using Die-namics Fancy Flourish. 

I stamped three fun sentiments from LJD Stitched Stockings on a layered die cut made using Die-namics Fishtail Flags Layered STAX along with a die cut made using Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX.

MFT November Teasers Day 3 70

Hi there! Welcome to Day 3 of the MFT November Teasers! Today we are showcasing two awesome stamps sets: Seasonal Sentiments  which was last month's Triple Scoop stamp set that will now be available for sale and Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings which will be this month's Triple Scoop stamp set.

Just to warn you, this post contains MANY photos so I hope you sit back and enjoy :)

First I have a trio of die cut tags that were made using a Die-namics Decorative Circle Tag STAX die which contains several various sizes, making it quite versatile for any sort of project. 

The three tags are very similar. Each contain a sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings that I stamped on a die cut label made using a die from Die-namics Layered Label Die. Each also has a grungeboard butterfly embellishment that was die cut using a die from Die-namics Butterflies then kissed with a layer of glitter, a die cut flourish that was made using Die-namics Fancy Flourish along with leaves made using Die-namics Royal Leaves. Each tag has its own felt flower embellishment. The tag shown below, features a Sweet Tooth felt flower made using Die-namics Rolled Daisy:

next tag features a Whip Cream felt flower made using Die-namics Rolled Gardenia:

and last but not least, is a Kraft felt flower made using Die-namics Loopy Bloom:

For my second project, I altered a wooden birdhouse and embellished it with LOTS of MFT goodies!

I stamped the Season's GREETINGS sentiment from Seasonal Sentiments on a die cut label  that was made using Die-namics Framed Greetings Die then outlined it with silver Stickles:

To frame the opening of the birdhouse, I die cut x 2 a wreath using the pretty Die-namics Winter Wreath. I have to give a shout out to my DH for the bird. He suggested I add him so I used the one of the bird dies from Die-namics Homespun Birdhouse.

In case you can't tell, I'm LOVIN' the Die-namics Poinsettia! I made many Wild Cherry and Pink Lemonade Poinsettias along with Kraft Die-namics Medium Fancy Flourishes and Sweet Tooth flourishes that were made using Die-namics Large Leafy Flourish.

My sweet husband spoiled me with his mad technology skills and made a video of birdhouse project. Please take a look (click on the FULLSCREEN icon [ ] in the lower right corner to expand your view to better enjoy the video):
